Battle system in second part: Ambush.

Ambush, just as this word implies, the player/owl is make the plan to find the best route getting close to the mouse without been noticed. Battlefield mode simulate the forest ground, that means there will fill with tree branch, cirrus and bushes, owl prepare to fly through the bushes to catch the mouse, in order not to hurt the owl its self and do not make noise to alert the mice, player have to keep balance well between act movement and alert level.

The alert level will help the mice to escape or hide themselves automatically. At the beginning of the battle mode, alert level is green color, this means mice do not notice the owl. Time and owl movement will increase the level of alert. With time goes by, even player/owl do not have any actions, the alert level still go higher. This settings will force player do something, not just stay where its start. When the alert level turn yellow, this will make the mice move faster than before but not escape or hide. Finally, this alert will turn red, mice will run and hide themselves. If owl do not catch any mouse before all the mice run out and hide, player will lose this round,

For some reason, not every game is fitted for any level of player to play it all day long, Playing games is good for people to commute with each other, have some fun, or compete with friends for some achievements. In this situation, the game play the positive role for players. However, if a school age teenage infatuated with a game, this will cause lots of social issue, that situation is not what we are look for. Energy point system could do some effort to alleviate this situation.

In my game, limited energy point will accompany with battle / arena system. it will cost one energy point when player going to the battlefield, and at the same time, energy point will refill with the time goes by. it is better to keep a nervous battle game playing during time around 1 hours. In one word, the limitation is not for the relax playing time, it is just limited the battle time.

After all the energy point been used, player could choose quit the game, or still stay in the game, to do some relax missions, such as review the battle records, doing some upgrading stuff, or even chat with friend in the game.

This is a simulator game for player to act as a wild animal in the entire food chain. This game can be create in the different version, such as owls vs mice; crocodile vs gazelles; or any kinds of animal which play the part of hunter and prey.

Let take owls and mice for example. Game is Turn-base mode. Every player in the game have initial points for survival. and from the beginning player will create both part of animal at least one of each kind -- 1 owl and 1 mouse. In the battle mode, player have to control their owl to find and catch other player's mouse, in order to get point. if not success, player will lost point, player can not control their mouse directly, but have ability to add points to mouse skills to escape from other player's owl.

the aim of this game is not just win the points, it will allow player to collect and upgrade their own creatures.

basically, this is multiplayer games, but players are not combat each other directly. using this battle mode will allow player play the game and any time, and will accept different level of players.

the game mode of Dear Hunter 2014 on smartphone can be consider as the right version for this kind of game.

I will follow up the details of this game, like normal combat mode, how to determine who is win/escape. what is the special abilities for different animals. and so forth.
