too shy for excerpts today. ah well.

the story is crawling along, but i am writing anyway! dare i include a crappy excerpt...

it was definitely a functioning thingy, though. he approached the cylindrical metal object. as he got closer he could see that some of the vanes were bent. it had definitely fallen from somewhere. and the top was domed, like a robot's head. like R2 D2's head. but it was smaller than an R2 unit.

i actually wrote and hit my 667-word goal. no excerpt today because i don't like anything i wrote :P maybe tomorrow...
