@artbohemian Hahaha, now I'm gonna come up with a fourth character and think of her as Lady, so that that situation can be true. Maybe she'll be of noble birth. Or noble demeanor. Purple does need a friend!

And the Dark Souls artist is out of control. Just. That whole aesthetic. It's prolly gonna be a subconscious influence on my art from now on.

And Ronny is a good name! Though, you had some misgivings about his faint resemblance to Ronaldo. Ronny. Ronaldo. Ronny. Hahaha. I still like it!

@Ashly lmao i'm crying i read that as knife, lady, purple, and blank at first. and i was so confident in that eyeroll pic only to discover that there's no good reference for eye roll. it would probably be best exaggerated and i'll think very hard about drawing it that way.

no, seriously, i don't think the rook armor looks dorky, it actually looks fierce and imposing. i ain't gonna pick no fights with an armored dude looking like that. (on a side note, i super admire the creature/monster designer/artist for the bloodborne/dark souls series, they're so talented)

i'm seriously this close to naming the king character "king" or "ronny" or something like that. i usually just go with whatever name pops into my head first. and thank you for the compliments (>///<) i worked very hard... (went through a lot of preliminary sketches)

@artbohemian HAHA!!! I didn't even realize that that's EXACTLY what my subconscious was doing (that first design especially), using Dark Souls aesthetic. Ha. And I feel the same way you did with the eye-rolling drawing. Quickly going from "I think I got this" to "oh no no no no, I do not got this." I mostly just wanted to see if there was a way to get those rook prongs onto an outfit. Tricky. Kinda dorky.

I like the king! That's a really super fun description! I'd suggest a name, but I'm so bad at it. I have three characters (I think), and they're still Knife Lady, Purple, and _________. So.
