this was one drawing in a comic thing. i'm happy with the first few, but disappointed in the overall product :/ oh well.

I would like to call this a "half-assed master study".

Was visiting the "Alte Nationalgalerie" today which is a museum for older paintings. My favorite were the romantic painters like Caspar David Friedrich and Carl Blechen. So great to see them for real. The works of Adolph Menzel were more worldly, but those huge paintings with all those details and his craftsmanship were very impressive.
