This is Wotja generating a very nice background song for me messing around on the cello. I am a beginner so there's some very odd intonation at times and the tone is a bit raspy, but the best practice is making songs and listening :) This is one of 6 takes.
It looks like there's still some seam material left in the three-tracks-of-one-guitar approach. I started this one Friday night and wrapped it up in a second session Saturday night. Three tracks of PureSalem Mendiola: both pickups, one bridge, and one neck. There's some large-room convolution reverb on them, and the usual audio effect rack on the Wide & Warm preset for compression/light EQ.
This one's named after a tiny Pennsylvania town near PA-475.
This is another exercise of me trying to learn composing and mixing horns. I am slightly getting better but there is still a lot of work to do! I have just discovered how to use Gross beat after I don't know how many years of using FL studio... Watching people create and mix on youtube is always fascinating as you discover different stuff that might be just obvious! So here I used Gross beat to do some scratching on vocals to keep the track kinda interesting.
I think this gets the vibe across pretty well. It's like.. definitely challenging.. but also.. fkn- chillin. Not sure if I mixed it too loud ? still definitely trying to get a handle on that.
