I opened my eyes around 4 but I thought that was too early so I slept a bit longer. I woke up at 4:59am, right before my alarm.
I woke up feeling extra groggy so I made some coffee and had some water. I reviewed some vocabulary language study briefly and mused over some thoughts, though I wasn't truly awake yet. Afterwards, at 6:15am I finished my coffee and decided to practice some tricks on my skateboard at the park. When I got back home at 7:30am, I had some couscous and eggs for breakfast after showering. Life is good.
Sooooo yesterday I failed but this morning I succeeded... :P
Unfortunately Friday morning I wokeup at 5 but slept until about 6:30am. On both Saturday and Sunday I slept until about 8:30am. Today I woke up at 5am and at least did some things before napping for a half hour after breakfast. I'm beginning to feel that my body is at least getting used to being up during the early hours. Part of what I think seems to be important is getting mental activity as early as I can. I should have tried answering some NationStates issues before ceding to nap, but I'll count this one because I was up for almost an hour and I didn't sleep too long.
I'm counting this but I won't count tomorrow if it includes a nap before 11am.
I was waking up fairly early each day except yesterday, however today I woke up when I was supposed to. I hope I continue to for at least the rest of this week.
but in a good way! Yesterday I napped too long (i.e. more than an hour around 5:30) so I didn't count it as a 5am day.
The last couple of days I woke up early, on Saturday it was about 7am or so, possibly even 6:30am. I was up until about 11:30, so I slept until around 8am because I bought a bunch of good tea in LA but it was just too good to wait until the morning to try a few of them.
Right now I'm drinking Pu-erh tea from a 12oz cake, imported from Hong Kong. I have a 1990 pu-erh I've been meaning to try but this one is good enough.
status report: napped at about ~8 until 9am. Studied beforehand

I woke up at 3:30am, took a nap at 7 until 9:30am. I was still "up" at 5. I forgot to log a couple other 5am days. Oh well!
two weeks before having to switch timezones again
I woke up at 5 but barely did anything in the morning
yesterday I failed because I tried to wake up at 5am not realizing the time was set forwards, so I woke up tired as hell. I still woke up early (7am, i.e. 6am). This morning I set 2 alarms, one for 4:15am and one for 5, so that I'd nap after the alarm at 4 and remember I had to be up at the "new" 5am
