Traverse is a 2d game based around the evolution of transportation and excavation.

Player begins abandoned on a desolate planet with nothing more than basic tools, using them to gather what is needed for their very first vehicle; The Pedal Powered Go Kart!!! Continue to upgrade your vehicle with your first combustion engine, a metal body, and rubber wheels. Congrats, it's your first car. Either increase the size of your fleet with sea and air vehicles, or continue to evolve your car into a semi-aquatic flying machine. Your fun doesn't have to stop at sea or sky. Build a tunnel bore machine to delve deep and collect materials on a mass scale, but don't dig too far or you'll be destroyed by the molten core. Or if you feel like you need a change of scenery, blast off into space and explore another planet, filled with minerals you have never seen to create denser alloys to protect your vehicles, or energy sources to power lasers and warp drives. Not just mining lasers, but also full on planetary annihilators. Your boundaries only go as far as the edge of the universe. Whether your goal is to plant a base on every planet, or destroy them all, the choice is up to you.http://www.mining-technology.com/contractor_images/11696/images/152046/large/drill-machine.jpghttp://brianpurkiss.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/wzx3FMs-760x404.png

Traverse's planets have an Aether (Bluebaby, 2008) -like gravity system. They are large enough to contain an abundance of materials and area to explore, but small enough a slight curvature is visible and with work they can be mined to near hollow, or even non-existent. Each planet is inhabited by life that are both harmless, and aggressive. Some aggressive animals consume meat, whereas others may consume non-organic materials, so don't only protect yourself; protect your vehicles. Although there may be bad, there is also good, so consider the innocent wildlife when you're blowing up planets for fun. Morality isn't the only thing you have to worry about. A planet destroying space station doesn't go unnoticed and people will try to stop you on your path. Be careful... (if it's ever made)

The Summit is a 2.5D platformer in which the player is following in the steps of a mountaineering group which went missing after 52 days.

http://dreamatico.com/data_images/mountain/mountain-1.jpgThe player is a mountain ranger who is trying to find a party lost climbing one of the tallest peaks in the world. They must scale the mountain while retrieving all of the diary entries left behind. The player must ascend the mountain using their abilities to run, jump, climb, shimmy, and break ice. The player can run in order to move, quickly make their way through a section involving speed, or use it to avoid environmental hazards such as falling rocks or ice collapsing below them. Jumping can be used to traverse large gaps that don't provide any other way across, however the player must be sure of their abilities to make the jump before attempting it. Climbing is used to vertically ascend any wall that allows climbing. This will be shown by left over climbing equipment, or it will look different to the sheer ice wall that is more common throughout the game. Shimmying is used to move along thin platforms which the player can't run across, or fragile ice platforms that are too weak to run or walk directly across. Finally, the player can break ice once they find a pick upgrade left by the previous party. Before this moment the player can only use a shovel to clear snow in front of them, and any ice walls can't be broken. The player doesn't have to collect every diary entry left behind, but without all 52 the collection may seem incomplete, and will leave out key points in a video flashback provided by the collected pieces. The pages slowly reveal how one by one the party falls until the final writer of the diary gets to the top then gives in to the cold.

Aggro Concerto is a 2D or 2.5D brawl game in which the players battle with instrument weapons in musically themed stages.

In this game, the player/s must fight one another or opponent AI using a default weapon equipped to the character they choose. Each character has their own move set and stats to match their default weapon. Large weapons such as warhammers, battleaxes, and great swords will be large instruments like cellos, bass drums, etc. Vice versa applies to small weapon types and instruments. Large weapons will have long reach and high damage or knockback, but will be slower to swing. Small weapons will be fast and will allow the player to carry them while keeping their movement speed high, but this will sacrifice knockback and reach. Players may have to sacrifice specific stats to get the weapon if their choice, but because of the differences they will be able to pick the playstyle they see fit. Weapons will also have a unique ability that can be charged during battle. This is called a War song. War songs are different for each character. The drum hammer wielder will have a War song which will increase his or her defense, allowing them to wildly swing while taking minimal damage in combat, forcing opponents to retreat while waiting for the effect to deplete. Something along the lines of a flute rapier will have a War song which will heal the player over time, until its time depletes.

The in game battle music will change with the tide of the battle. It will go by the ratios of the competitors' health. The lower a competitor's health is, the quieter their instrument is in the in game music, whereas a player who is winning will have a louder instrument than the rest. Visual effects for attacks and hits will also have a musical theme. Instead of stars, the images used will be along the lines of treble clef, bass clef, and notes.

The weapons available are:

  • Cello Battleaxe
  • Drum Hammer
  • Flute Rapier
  • Harp Bow
  • Oboe Greatsword
  • Piccolo Dagger
  • And more...

Novella is a narrative, FPS, action game in which the player is a detective in an Italian comic world.http://media.comicbook.com/uploads1/2014/10/vertigo-films-109705.jpg

The player is a detective in Rome who is trying to solve a case in which victims are having their voices stolen. They are all found in catatonic states, unable to let out any noise. Only one is cogent and aware, and she is willing to take the player back to where she was attacked. When she does, the player and the victim are attacked by cultist dressed in robes. The player must fight them off without losing all of their health. Once the battle is over, they must study the clues left behind by the fleeing cultists. This leads them to a hideout where the cultists are trying to complete a ritual using the voices of the victims. They summon the powers of darkness to enhance their leader, who tries to silence the player and the victim for good. They escape and go into hiding. When they try to return to the police station, they find that it has been burnt to the ground, and cops have been taken prisoner. It is up to the player to stop the evil cult and free the officers. The player gathers weapons and equipment, then fights his way into the cult hideout. The player and victim find out that the cult is trying to spread the evil through a portal, and the only way to destroy it and the evil is to have a victim reclaim their voice then sacrifice themselves. While the player is keeping the leader of the cult busy, the victim touches the portal to reclaim herself, then falls from the window behind the portal. The portal explodes, then the leader turns to dust

The game is cell shaded, and uses a lot of flat colours, like comic book art. Attacks and shots give off visual effects that represent motions and sounds. There aren't any speech bubbles used for dialog, but the victim does help the player with one that is filled with images at key points. Ammo appears when the victim finds ammo and wants to toss it to the player. Health packs will appear in the same way. An arrow will also appear if the victim spots an enemy, and it will point towards enemies hidden from the player.http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/3/39/BioshockInfinite-M1Carb-2.jpg/600px-BioshockInfinite-M1Carb-2.jpg

Kinetic Link is a 2D, puzzle game in which the player must get two balls to the corresponding goals by hitting one to control the other. http://previews.123rf.com/images/germina/germina1210/germina121000003/15839366-vector-circuit-board-sphere-Stock-Vector-circuit-logo-technology.jpg

In each puzzle, the player is given a course and two balls. The player must get both balls through the course and to their corresponding coloured hole. The player can only do this by using physics on one ball in order to move the other. Balls can only be hit if there is a surface free to hit. This can be on the top or against the sides using one of the tools, or force can be applied from underneath using fans, mines, or trampolines. The player will also need to avoid hazards placed throughout the levels. Hazards will destroy the ball that makes contact with them, making the puzzle impossible to complete, and the player will need to restart. Timing is another key factor for some puzzles. These puzzles will require the player to study the level, plan their approach, and then precisely execute their plan. Most of these timing puzzles will feature hazards which will destroy the ball that comes in contact with them.

Tools available to the player will be:

  • Mallets of various sizes (different sizes will not only control the power of the hit but also the angle of the hit)
  • Magnets (Magnets will be used to attract the other ball based on where they are placed providing a steady amount of perpetual force. The further away the magnet is, the less force is applied)
  • Repulsers (Repulsers do the same this as magnets, except they repel the opposite ball using steady pulses. These only have a limited range, but the force is consistent within that range)

The player will be given a rank at the end of each level based on their time, the number of tools used (golf-like stroke system), and the number of balls lost.

Blood Barista is a customer service game in which the player is serving at a cafe for monsters.

http://images.publicradio.org/content/2009/10/29/20091029_universal-monsters_33.jpg

The player is a young vampire who is working at a chain coffee shop that serves other monsters. Monsters come through, place their order and give their name to the player, who has to remember and make the orders. The player will be graded on time, accuracy, and whether the drink degrades before the customer receives it (cool down for hot drinks, melt for frozen drinks, and rot for brains and flesh). The player will also receive bonus points for correctly writing down the customer's name on their cup, which get more difficult when monsters like zombies come in and moan when asked for their name. The player is given money for each order's grade. Once the player gets to the end of the day, their cash is added up and if they have enough, the next level will be unlocked. As the levels progress, different types of customers will enter the store, and different beverages will be put on the menu. The later beverages are more complex and will require more ingredients or process to make them. Customers may also have dietary requirements, like vampires can only drink blood so use the right processes but replace all ingredients with blood, or leave out an ingredient that a certain monster can't consume. If the player gets a dietary requirement wrong, the customer will burst into flames, turn to ashes, and the line will clear leaving the player to wait for more customers earning no money while the line has to refill.

Cat o' Nine Tails is a stealth/action, heist game in which the player is a cat burglar pulling off different heists to fund an underground cat crime ring.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BlKhI3xCUAEZOTw.jpg

The player can choose between two characters, Felicia Purtelli or Hans Pawsel, two of the top cat burglars in the Cat o' Nine Tails crime ring. Both are good at what they do, and both have their own strengths which need to be taken into account when planning a heist. After completing enough heists around the city, international heists are open to the player, jetting them off all over the world. But being away from the hub leads to problems between the other seven in the group. After narrowly avoiding a job gone wrong because of an attempt on their lives, they return to the hub to find five have been assassinated, and two have run and find a way to track down the traitors for revenge. They have to fund their assault on the traitors' penthouse through more elaborate heists for bigger paydays, and stealing specialized weapons and equipment. When it comes to the final showdown, the player must fight and sneak their way into the traitors' building, find them, steal back what was taken, and detonate charges the player placed. Whichever character is picked for this can be interchanged at any point allowing the correct character to be used for tasks they are best at.

The game has a top down view with a camera which can be rotated, and the angle can be lowered or raised. Key elements and objectives are shown through walls by coloured outlines, so there is no complete obstruction of vision. Vision cones from enemies are only visible through direct line of sight so the player has to keep an eye out. If caught by an enemy, the player only has a limited time to kill or incapacitate them before they set off an alarm, or try to take the player out. The player has a toolbar filled with equipment that can be used to get through levels to the objective. The player has only a limited number of uses for each piece of equipment, so they must be used sparingly and intelligently. The player can also use combat to take down enemies. Dropping an enemy's health to zero will result in incantation if only fists are used, but if weapons are used it will result in death.

Enemies and surveillance that will be encountered are:

  • SWAT
  • Security
  • Hired Thugs
  • Police
  • Surveillance Cameras
  • Motion Sensors
  • Trip mines
  • Sentry Guns
  • And more...

The player/s are in the top percentage of skiers and snowboarders in the world. They have been chosen to compete in the E.S.C, the Eggstreme Sports Competition on Mt. Meatball. The events involved in this competition are all based around winter extreme sports, but the theme around them and the equipment used is food based. Players will compete in the events to earn points towards their final tally. The events available are:

  • The Slalomi (The Slalom)
  • Ice-cream Climbing (Ice Climbing)
  • Snowmeatball Racing (Snowmobile Racing)
  • Hot Dog Sled Racing (Dog Sled Racing)
  • And more...

Gameplay consists of WASD or arrow keys for long races which require speed and direction controls, and QTEs for repetitive movements and timing such as ice climbing and bob sledding. Once an event has been completed, the competitors will be awarded set amount of points in descending order. At the very end of the set of events, the first three competitors will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.http://img.91mobiles.com/articles/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Ski-Safari-Graphics-1024x576.png

Tesla is a 2D puzzle game in which the player must get the electricity to jump to the very end of the level, all while creating electronic music while the level progresses.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ-g1sLh8ZsLz10z5FNXghS7cDLg0byNapoQ1oIlN7edX4bmuBH

The player must use different electronic components to get the power supply to power up a device at the end of each level. Each component has a different use for moving the electricity towards the device, and only a limited number of each component for each level. If the player runs out of components and cannot complete the path to the device, then they will have to either restart, or remove pieces and replace them until the puzzle is solved. Components don't only have to be placed in the right order, some also have to have their frequency matched with other permanent components or the final device.

The components available are:

  • Tesla Coils. Two Tesla coils bridge a gap if their frequency matches.
  • Plasma Orb. Sends electricity through all connecting wires.
  • Wires. Electricity travels along the component, and it can connect to any other component.
  • Resistor. Slows down the flow of electricity for puzzles which require precise timing.
  • And more...

The different components produce different sounds to each other. The sounds produced in the correct order and with the correct components, will sound perfectly normal and will continue through to the device. But if the components are incorrectly placed, the sound produced will be distorted, the flow of electricity will stop, and a visual indicator will be given that the player has failed.http://i.ytimg.com/vi/qQNnJQIPHV4/hqdefault.jpg

Special Delivery is a Crazy Taxi (1999, Hitmaker Acclaim Cheltenham) style game in which the player uses a multitude of vehicles to deliver different packages across a city/cities.http://www.seqlegal.com/sites/default/files/scooter-delivery.png

The player starts out as a bike messenger whose job is to pick up and deliver packages to random locations across a small city. After the first level/tutorial, they are noticed by a larger delivery company looking for somebody who isn't afraid to speed and take shortcuts in order to make a delivery. The player starts to get access to more parts of the city, different vehicles, and more time sensitive packages. The different vehicles made available begin with a scooter, then a faster motorcycle, a car, a van, a truck, a tank, a helicopter, a jet, and finally a VTOL. Different vehicles have different stats and pros for their use, like a car or motorcycle is faster, but a bike can be used to scale stairs and small obstacles through jumping. The levels evolve by giving the player access to larger/different areas, and even neighbouring cities.

The player picks up packages by traveling to a spot on the map and successfully stopping in the outlined area beside the client. They then make their way to the drop location by weaving through city streets, down alleyways, and between cars. Once they find the location, they have to come to a complete stop inside the designated area. Cash and bonus time will be rewarded for each drop, and more will be awarded for taking less time. If the player is in a tank, they do the same thing except they can destroy cars too. They also have to fire their deliveries at the recipient or into a mailbox. Damage to cars all adds up to a value subtracted from the total score. The jet and VTOL have the same firing system as well as a bomb drop method, but they fly over the streets so it can be difficult to get the targeting correct unless using the VTOL hover mode.

The Nest is a third person, action, adventure in which the player is an injured griffin making their way back to their nest in order to save their offspring and mate. http://pre03.deviantart.net/9cc8/th/pre/f/2014/030/0/9/griffin_dreamfinder_by_adampaquette-d74fmd5.jpg

The player is a majestic griffin out hunting for food. After they find a conveniently placed tied to a post they are attacked. The player manages to fight off and kill their attackers, but is gravely injured in the process. They see mounted riders heading in the direction they came from, heading back towards the nest. The player must travel without their wings along a long, dangerous path. The road ahead will be filled with more angry humans, and creatures of myth and lore. The player must defeat the foes they encounter and stay alive throughout the entire journey and final battle. No matter what humans will attack the player, because their mission is to exterminate the griffin and its brood. When it comes to creatures, some could act helpful towards the player, whereas some will attack the wounded griffin. Creatures aligned with nature such as ents, elves, and centaurs will help, heal, and/or enhance the player. Creatures aligned with chaos such as basilisks, manticores, and ogres will try to kill the player when they cross paths. The game comes to a final assault on the nest, in which the player and their mate (who is fully upgraded) must defend the nest and their offspring. There will be waves of humans trying to push forward, and destructive siege machines with high defense.

The player levels up as they progress through the game, and are awarded experience to spend to upgrades for health, defense, and health, as well as extra attack combos. There will also be abilities unlocked throughout the game which can be upgraded to be more efficient, destructive, or restorative. Some of these abilities can be used to find collectibles and secret areas, so once the player gets the ability to fly back, they can go back through the game to find them. Once flying is unlocked, the game becomes more open.http://betweenlifeandgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Dirge_of_Cerberus_Galian_Beast.pnghttp://cdn4.dualshockers.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/metalgearrising001.jpg

Mask is an FPS, multiplayer, horror in which a single player is running away from multiple evil spirits, the Masks.

http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/tribal-mask-philippines-7225693.jpg

In Mask, one player is placed in a maze like level with multiple Masks pursuing them. The Masks are murderous phantoms who exterminate all life that ventures into their domain. They are Masks with invisible bodies, bodies which can scale the walls of the level so they can avoid being hit by the weapons of their prey. The Masks stays at the same height floating above the floor, moving with their controlling body. The only time the mask doesn't seem to glide gracefully along the halls is when the controlling player is sprinting, which makes the Mask shake violently as it rushes the human player. The player must win by surviving the time limit without being killed by the Masks. They can run, hide and shoot at the Masks chasing them, but they can only hit the invisible bodies behind the Mask. This is extremely difficult because the Masks can change the surface their body is moving along. The player must guess and/or determine through elimination which surface a Mask is running on before they are killed. If one of the Masks manages to reach the human player they are both teleported to random parts of the level and the human player loses a life. After three hits the human dies and they lose.

The human player starts only a pistol, and a bow and arrow. Throughout the level they can find different weapon types that will deal with the Masks more efficiently, such as shotguns, machine guns and grenade launchers. There are multiple gametypes the players can participate in including; Hunt, King of the Hill, Capture the Objectives, and Infection. Hunt is the normal game type in which multiple Masks hunt a human player. King of the Hill is a game type in which the player must stay alive at multiple capture points. Capture the Objectives is a game type in which the player must collect all artefacts around the level before getting killed. The Infection is a game type in which only one Mask is present at the start, and every human player they kill becomes a Mask.

The Academy is a sim management game in which the player is the headmaster of an academy of arcane arts.https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c4/Hog2warts.jpg

The player is the headmaster of Luicar Arcane Academy. They must run the academy keeping it viable, and by keeping students and faculty appeased. They will start from scratch, with only limited funding. The player will start with a single room and their office. From there, students enrol and faculty is hired, then the school grows to accommodate more. Soon classes are set to specific rooms and faculty are set to departments. The player must keep the school afloat financially, all while keeping everybody happy.

Classes available are:

  • Alchemy
  • Enchanting Objects
  • Herbology
  • Polymorphism
  • Offensive Spells
  • Flying lessons
  • And more...

The player has a headmaster character that represents them, and students/faculty are represented by their own characters. Depending on how much the headmaster character is seen roaming the school by the students and faculty, raises their appeasement. There will also be a communal feedback log that shows the mood of NPCs in the school. The feedback will show the wants and needs of the NPCs, and changes made to the school will delete the log entries and raise appeasement. The school is built modularly, and everything snaps into place. The placed classroom pieces are upgraded using currency. Currency is earned monthly from the number of students enrolled at the school, and it is spent on faculty, facility costs, and any building pieces.http://screenshots.en.sftcdn.net/en/scrn/17000/17138/zoo-tycoon-5.jpg

Omnipotence is a third-person, world destroying action fighting game in which the player is a god punishing impudent inhabitants of their world.

The player is a god and they have created a single inhabitable planet in a galaxy. The beings of this world have grown arrogant, started wars without reason and have meddled in powers they should not. Sign after sign has been given to them, warning them not to continue down this destructive path, by nobody listened. So having given up on the beings, the player has decided on a destructive extinction level event to wipe the slate clean. This event; the god itself. It has decided to take physical form and destroy the beings so they know their folly. But the beings will not go down so easily. They have created mechanical giants to contest their god, an even match against the god's weaker physical form. The player must defeat these creations as it progresses down its destructive path, as the mechs get more and more difficult with every passing battle.

Every level has a destruction and life percentage shown in the player HUD. The player must use their abilities to destroy the entire area in as little time as possible. Once enough time has passed in a level a mech will be released and the player must defeat it before the level can be completed. The destruction percentage is the only one needed to finish a level. If the destruction percentage has been filled before the life one has, the level will end and the player will have to replay in order to complete the life percentage. Top percentages will be shown in the game and in the menu. The mechs will have varied stats and weapon types, gradually getting more and more difficult through the game. They also have different fighting styles depending on their stats. For example, if a mech has great speed and low defense, they will go in for quick strikes then retreat. Whereas if a mech has high attack and defense the will be on the constant offensive, an unrelenting flurry of blows, which will test the evasiveness of the player.

Squires is a multiplayer party game in which players compete for knighthood.

https://squiretothegiants.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/squire.gif?w=660&h=795

Players are pitted against each other in a series of mini-games to see who will be granted knighthood, and who will be sent to clean the stables. Each player has a colour and a crest chosen before the game. No two players can pick the same combination. They are then put on a leader board and the players can choose the length of the entire match; 10 to 80 mini-games. Matches are either put in a random order or the order is chosen by the players. The players will have to verse each other and complete different objectives to gain points or finish the game. The player at the end of each mini-game with the most points or the player to finish first will be the winner. After a match the players in the first three positions will be awarded points; 10, 6, and 2. At the very end of the match, a winner is knighted and the others stay squires. The different types of matches will be; shoeing horses, polishing armour, sharpening swords, jousting, sword fighting, practicing to rescue damsels, practicing how to kill dragons, and other knightly and squire duties. The controls consist of quick time events, button timing, button combinations, and motion controls used with PS4 controllers, Wii controllers and XBox Kinect.

Anti is a third-person/first-person, bullet-hell shooter in which the player must avoid being shot by matter destroying projectiles.

http://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/antimatter-gun-578x325.jpg

The player is a secret agent stealing prototype antimatter weapons. They make their way in and find their first target, an antimatter handgun. The player sets off an alarm and must complete their mission while avoiding fire from the very weapons they were tasked to steal. The antimatter ammo in the weapons will destroy anything they hit, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Throughout the game the player will have to complete their mission by collecting the rest of the weapons; a shotgun, a machine gun, a shield (while it contains charge it is impervious to antimatter rounds), a magnum (can shoot through shields), and a grenade. These weapons have limited stocks of ammo, so ammo must be collected from agents' corpses or in storage boxes throughout the facility.

If they are hit, the player loses that limb or body part. Losing a leg results in the layer moving more slowly and hopping which decreases accuracy while moving. Losing both legs means the player will have to crawl and can't fire while doing so. If the player loses an arm they will have decreased accuracy and increased kickback while firing two-handed weapons later in the game. Losing both legs will make it so the player can't fire, so they will have to run for an exit or repair station. Head shots are immediate death. Losing three body parts or their will result in the player losing the level and they will have to restart. Repair stations are scattered throughout the game and can be used to repair the player, and replace their lost parts. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/MvL-LjllGfA/maxresdefault.jpg

Framed is an interactive, narrative based, murder mystery, adventure game in which the player is someone trying to clear their name of murder by finding the real culprit.

http://i24.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/00/e7/8cd2_35.JPG

The player is a surgeon who comes home one day to find his wife has been murdered. The police collect evidence, while the player walks around the crime scene talking to police and looking at what evidence has been found. Only surgical tools, the murder weapons, have been left behind. The player's office is searched for their tools and they turn up missing. The tools are tested and only the player's fingerprints turn up. The player is taken into an interrogation and is questioned. After the detectives attempt to make him crack, they are called away. The player peers through a window in the door to see the detectives with their backs to them, and in a detective's hand is a photo of the player performing the surgery on their wife. The player breaks down the door and escapes custody. They are then on a hunt for clues to who the real killer is. They follow clues in the form of photographs, solve puzzles, use items correctly, execute QTE's, and talk their way out of situations. It all comes down to finding out the killer is somebody who idolized the player's character long ago, but was hurt by them. They surgically changed their face, eyes, fingerprints, voice and body, all in the attempt to destroy the player and their reputation. It all comes down to a final standoff between the player and the killer, only one will survive. The player defeats the murderer, but depending on their choices decides the outcome. They will either catch them alive, they will have to talk their way through a "shoot the evil clone" situation with the detectives, kill the murderer, or kill them in a way that destroys their appearance, in which case the player will have an extra scene to prove what happened.

Clues in the game are photo and medical science based. The player must complete a range of puzzles in order to find out who the murderer is and where to go next. Through these clues the player will receive exposition which will tell the player about the killer and the player's past, and if he player is paying attention, it will also help them make informed decisions during dialogue. The player will have full movement around locations they are exploring. The camera angles will be in fixed positions and will loosely follow the player, changing when the player moves into a certain position.

Fatigue is a first-person, endless, climbing simulator, in which the player is a climber fighting fatigue after being trapped climbing a rock face.

http://asme.berkeley.edu/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Rock-Climbing-Wallpaper-HD.jpgThe player is an adrenaline junkie doing some recreational climbing, but in a cruel twist of fate their gear has been lost while setting up camp. Their only chance is to scale back up the mountain before they succumb to insomnia and exhaustion. The player will have to use skill and reflexes to grab stable footholds in order to climb up. Every so often the climb gets harder, the player struggles hand over hand. Their eyes also get heavier as the sky gets darker. Only the player's shoulder light can guide them up the face. Some rocks are unstable and will crumble as soon as the player gets a hold of them. If this happens, the player will have a small window to catch themselves and grab another rock. If the player falls, they find they have the choice to quit or restart. Restarting brings them back to the starting situation.

The gameplay is similar to Surgeon Simulator (2013, Bossa Studios). The player must control one hand at a time, and use buttons to control the grip of each finger. When the player grips a rock they must grasp all fingers around it before switching hands. If a rock crumbles, the player has three chances in which the game goes into bullet time and the player has a chance to grab another rock before falling too far. The player will have full control of the hand that let go. This idea is also similar to a game called Drowning Simulator, in which the player is in the point of view of a man overboard and they must struggle to stay afloat. http://greenlitgaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Surgeon-Simulator-2013-Review-Inception.jpg

The player is an avid survivalist and zoologist. After a national park was used for the disposal of toxic waste, the player must journey to the park to make sure the animals inhabiting the park are unharmed. When they get there they discover the animals have mutated into new creatures. The player must travel through the forests of the park discovering and documenting the new species. They must find new creatures and observe their behaviour, sources of food, and their interactions with creatures around it. Creatures will attack the player should they disturb them in a way that seems aggressive, or if they alert a carnivorous predator. The player can either fight off the creature and kill it, or run from it. However due to the nature of the expedition, if the player kills a creature they will receive a penalty, e.g. the species of creature killed will be openly aggressive towards the player, the prey or food of the creature will overgrow/overpopulate causing an imbalance in the delicate, artificial ecosystem, etc. New types of plants can also be discovered by the player, and analysed for its chemical structure.

The player starts with only a few research slots to represent the few confirmed sightings of new creatures. Throughout the game the player will be contacted by rangers monitoring the park through surveillance equipment. Anything undiscovered by the player will be alerted to the player and new research slots will be made available to the player. To get 100% in the game, the player must fill all research slots. The player has limited supplies and resources. The only weapons they have are a machete, a hatchet, a flare gun, and a tranquilizer. The tranquilizer and flare gun have very limited ammo, but once certain new plants and their ingredients have been discovered the player can create more ammo and new types of ammo, some more effective than default ammo. Tranquilizers can be used to put susceptible creatures to sleep, and flares can be used to scare away any attacking creatures which fear light or flames. The player must also find edible plants in order to stave off starvation, and clean water in order to remain hydrated.

Mimicry is a first-person, rogue-like, dungeon crawler in which the player must survive the run and collect as much loot as possible.

cloverfield monster

The player is an archaeologist trapped in the lowest level of a tomb, due to a well-placed booby trap. They must find a way through the labyrinthine tomb until they find the exit. They don't want to risk a second trip, so they try to loot as much as they can before exiting. However, the tomb is populated with a hideous bloodthirsty creatures, which can transform into objects. Their particular favourites; chests, urns of gold, idols, etc. As the player is collecting loot they must be wary of hidden enemies, who will pounce upon the player if the player mistakes them for treasure. The player has a limited array of weapons for defense against the monsters. They start with only small archaeological tools, e.g. a hammer, a pick, etc. Further through the tomb the player can find ancient weapons left behind by whatever civilization built the tomb. If the player is killed, they either have to quit out or restart the game with a new randomly generated tomb.

The player must make their way through 9 levels made up of randomly generated mazes. On each level they have to find their way to the stairs heading up, until they reach the final door. Levels increase in difficulty as the player ascends; adding traps, increasing the density of enemy population, unique mini-boss monsters, etc. At the end of each level, the player will be rewarded with a sum of treasure, and a weapon. The gold amassed by the player will go towards the player's total pool, which is used to unlock perks, multipliers, and new weapons.

Lancet is a third-person multiplayer, action, platformer in which competing players must do battle with transforming weapons classified as Lancets.

Entertainment of the future is bleak and unoriginal, and sports are filled with overprotective rules trying to protect the players from all injuries. The exception being Lancet League, a gladiatorial extreme sport in which athletes face off in to the death combat, with the assistance of resurrection technology. Players battle in either team or all for one, matches to rank up and unlock more upgrades and weapon types to purchase for their Lancets. Lancets are fully customisable and have interchangeable parts which result in different weapon types and combinations. Lancets can only switch between two types; the set primary, and the set secondary. The primary will have stronger attack power, but the secondary will have a faster attack speed. Each type and set has its own attack set. For example, the primary set for a war hammer type weapon will have a different attack set and appearance than the secondary set for a war hammer type weapon.http://www.sheenaduquette.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/DMR_Javelin_Sword-600x400.jpg

Players can either play through a campaign or multiplayer. The multiplayer modes are Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and a Gun Game mode using different weapon types. During these matches, the player will earn points by getting kills, consecutive kills, breaking kill streaks, getting first blood, etc. This point total will go towards experience points at the end of the match, with full earnings if the player/team wins, and half earnings if the player/team loses. Winning matches and/or placing within the top three will earn the player credits that go towards buying upgrades and weapon types. Credits for first place will be full, second place credits will be half, and third place credits will be a quarter.
