Today was a busy day for me and my wife, but we were able to make some progress!

We now have room transition between different scenes in the game and we now have the base for a dialog system that I will improve upon tomorrow.

We also created the friend who will put our main character Clowny (temporary name) into serious problems. Right now he's called Ship, the Shrimp. You can see some of our progress on the video and images below.

Tomorrow I plan to finish the dialog system and add a simple cutscene and inventory system for our fetch quest.

Good work so far, I love the fish sprites. Also clowny really needs to distance himself from his delinquent friend ship the shrimp

I entered this jam with my wife today.
As I entered a little late, I don't have too much progress to show. We brainstormed an idea to make an adventure game based on simple minigames and a fetch quest for the jam.

The game will be about a little clownfish who will be in debt with the fish mafia due to a trap set up by his roommate. He'll need to do some errands for the mafia so they spare his life.

We already created the main character and I set up some basics on Godot, like player input, created a simple test room with some assets I bought before and started setting up transition between rooms.

Tomorrow I plan to do some more progress, since we already rounded up the idea.
