did a fair bit of work on the solidjs thing. learned a bunch more about setting up components and having separate pages, started putting .less files together, and then explored a ton of options trying to get around a pretty terrible CORS problem that will likely involve some very complicated restructuring around Node.js. may have to run a Node proxy just to make calls to public APIs on the web... ouch

i also did a bunch of work on the conlang. finished a chart of symbols i had in my head as a very early example of what kinds of flow the shapes should have, and worked with some friends to make a bunch of decisions related to phonemes and syllable structure
