Streak Club is a place for hosting and participating in creative streaks.
This week's streak was focusing on using a limiter to sidechain the drums into various sounds and on adding atmosphere to make the song sound less 'samey'. I don't feel I mastered this one as well as last week's entry but I'm still happy with the result.

@thelsdj Yeah the bassline was fun to work on.
@Sean Hogan Probably would have been better had I known how to actually play a guitar, yet I think it turned out well coming from a keyboard.
guitar is a neat contrast in terms of sound palette.
I liked the bassline a lot.
This week's streak is in a different style then the others, mainly 8bit.
Similar to @Paulgami, I've been listening to a lot of game music recently, primarily NES. I wanted to try my hand at some vsti for NES chip emulation and I think it came out well. It's also a chance to try out some gating effects!

For my third week streak I present Beginding (the name comes from focus being on the beginning and ending of the song for this weeks attempt).
I'm pretty proud of this one. Good mixing, lush sounds and a switchup between the 3/4 time sig. intro and the 4/4 time sig. outro. The ending could have been a bit more fleshed out but I think the ramp down in tracks suits it nicely.

I finished this a few days ago. It would be nice if I could outdo my expectations and upload more then once every cycle.
My first submission to the streak! I wanted to start off with something simple but cool sounding. I figure with these Streaks I will try new things and learn new techniques. This one is about mastering and glitching drums and some choirs.

I really like the melody of the echoing guitar part. Suspended notes sounded really nice.
