Some really nice arpeggios under the vocal, particularly before the drop! A lot of thrilling momentum here.
I wonder if the mix could be cleaned up a bit, though, to help them come out. There's that wide noisy sawtooth pad that seems to cover a lot of the sonic spectrum; maybe some frequencies could be notched out of that for the melody. (Maybe look at each instrument with a spectrum plugin to see what frequencies it's taking up.)

Finished my remix for Dillon's contest! I've been making a lot of atmospheric music lately so it felt good to break out some 808s.
I started with just a random trap beat I made about a year ago. Stripped it and reconstructed it. About halfway through I kinda stopped caring what other people would think and decided to get a little metal.
I'm pretty proud of it. I think it's decently unique (as far as trap goes) and goes pretty hard. The only problem is I can never get my masters as big and loud as commercial tracks, so as soon as I compare it to any commercially produced song I hate it. Such is life.

@onezero Hey! Thanks for listening and for the thoughtful feedback. You're absolutely right about the mix - it's awful lol. I use streak club just to post something random every week and I don't spend too much time stressing about the quality. But one day I might go back and tune it up. Thanks! :)
