So much nekkid-ness, sorry. Spent a surprisingly long time on this? Just kinda piddling around, adding details and notes and whatnot, trying to get everyone looking closer to my mind's eye. Also, very weird to go from black-and-white to color! Also also, some new (secondary) characters, one per story idea. Also also also, name ideas!

Edit: The Blacksmith is too grey. Imagine they don't look ~completely~ like a corpse.

ROBIN, YES, CONFIRMED. It never occurred to me that that's a gender-neutral name!!!! That is perfect.

And Samir is Knife Gal's boyfriend. I'd long envisioned him as being a dorky, chubby non-white dude, bonding with her over the bullshit of our awful society, haha. And yeah, Knife Gal definitely has an "if looks could kill" expression, and uses it liberally toward most people (and especially dipshits.) I'm trying to avoid making her that cliched "hates everything and everyone, only a bad attitude, no matter what" character though. Gotta find the line to walk, there. I imagine her as being kinda sweet, underneath the indifferent, wary exterior. Which. In and of itself is a trope I need to navigate!!!! Stories are hard ;;;;__;;;; I'll figure her out, eventually.

And yes! I like those Nerd One headcanons. (I really really love the input!!!) And yeah, I like to imagine she was that height in like, tenth grade. Pretty much forced to play basketball. Considered undateable. That kinda thing. Something that gave her a lot of complexes that she's gotten past over the years. Something that contributed to her "disinterested in playing the part of femininity for its own sake" mindset, since she's always been at a big disadvantage there.

And you're the second person to note how much I'm trying for body diversity, which feels good!! I kinda think my whole drawing habits over the past 2.5 years have been leading that. It's important to me! And I took a look at how stretch marks look on darker skin and you're absolutely right. My own on my white skin are only noticeable if you get too close for comfort lol. Still gonna be tricky to figure out how to draw them (I'm having similar difficulty with the scars on Purple. Consistency and finding an effective way of drawing them is also gonna be really tough.)

You're also the third (out of three) person to comment on how cute Purple and Lady are together. I'm on to something there!!! My goal is to make everyone barf at how cute and lovely they are together, haha.

And your expressions for Pawn are SUPER ON POINT. So effective and well-done! (Also, you subconsciously drew an eye-roll again, haha.) Determined is my favorite of the bunch. Infinite cuteness. (Pawn in general has been infinite cuteness!)

i really *love* these two pics! i feel like i'm learning so much about these characters! i see you tried your hardest to show variety between the bodies and i think it shows.

shelley seems like a good name for the nerd one, they look totes adorb. i think she would wear clothes that show off her tats like on her arm at least (if you ever get in the mood to draw clothes) dunno how she'd feel about wearing shorts. my new headcannon: she's sensitive about showing her legs because she used to be teased about having long legs (or I'm sure she had an awkward growing phase)

lol @ knife girl's hair, i think the hot pink would look good on her. maybe pink with frosted blond tips or something. vi or val seem like a good name for her. she seems sassy or "sick of your shit rite now". if looks could kill, she'd be the first to use it as a lethal weapon.

samir seems like a good name for the boyfriend. who's boyfriend is he??? i love all the body hair. i should really draw more characters with facial hair. very unique. also its precious if he dates knife or the nerd one and when he's shorter than them.

cassandra isn't the first name that comes to mind when i look at purple. maybe...judy? (idk ignore me. these are your characters) she and sylvia (wonder where you got that name ;P) make a cute couple! nice work on sylvi's hair! would be interesting to see stretch marks on her (it's usually easier to see stretch marks on darker skin)

Blacksmith reminds me of something, i just don't remember what. maybe the hobbit or something? Nice, unisex names. try maybe robin or morgan? (side note: ariel is actually a unisex name also shameless steal from fire emblem)

enjoy my silly comments
