(<:\) uhhgghh i'm always a little nervous about showing my own characters, but here goes
i tried character sketches today to try to finalize them all in my head. this guy doesn't even have a name, but he's kind of a dork. i thought it would be ironic if the king character was large and sorta imposing, but in reality just a scared babbu that wants everyone to get along
any possible name suggestions?
(ALSO i had to get it out of my head that he looks kind of like ronaldo from steven universe lol)
working out how i want these different alien species to look. sorta liking the bird-looking one. its growing on me in a weird way

tablet wasn't working today, so had to go old school.
I've been fiddling with the idea of an extinct alien species with one surviving member. for some reason, I think it would be nice if they looked more bug-like, having several arms and wings and antenna like appendages. will see where it goes

@Penbee i'm only very used to drawing animals and i'm less comfortable with drawing people, so i had doubts when i first attempted this, but i'm really proud of it!
i've done so much studying how to draw things and staring at ref pics until my eyes bleed that it feels like all of my efforts are contributing to something.
the pic looks a bit warped the way i scanned it, but this is very close to was i was trying to achieve. i want to keep pushing myself until something like this is as easy as breathing.
I am quite interested in this character's chubby design! How do you feel about them?
