My escape room looks simple but will hopefully be challenging. As you step into the room you immediately notice the single chair and TV in the room. To escape the room players must

1) Close the curtains, turn the lights off and turn the lap on revealing a letter and a number on the roof

2) This letter and number combination translates to a book on a bookshelf.

3) The book contains a DVD

4) There is a small button behind the book which opens up the door to the secret room

5) In this room there will be a safe with batteries inside

6) To open the safe use the pen/paper provided in the table next to the chair, the pen will contain a hidden UV light and a hidden code on the back of paper.

7) Use the remote to turn on the TV and play the DVD player

8) The person on the TV will be taunting you, there will be a hidden message within the DVD that will contain the code to escape the room.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you mixed random chemicals together, would anything happen at all? Well there is only one way to find out... and now there's a safe alternative. The game SCIENCE! is an educational sandbox game where you will be given a science lab and a few basic chemicals to experiment with. As you progress throughout the game you will gain more chemicals to experiment with. At stages of the game you will be given tasks, such as producing certain coloured fireworks, making something explode or turning something from a liquid to a gas. These are simple experiments to complete at early stages of the game but the tasks will increase in difficulty. These tasks will train the user similar to a tutorial where the player will learn how use the simple drag and drop mechanic to move items around. These experiments will be hyper realistic and will be scientifically accurate even down to the measurements.

In this game, there will be an endless number of mazes you can complete with your friends, as it will be randomly generated so no two are ever the same. The game is a four player game. Three people will control humans trying to escape the maze and the other person will control the monster who is trying to stop the other players from escaping, this 3v1 mechanic is popular in such game as Evolve. The maze will be square and players will start on the opposite side to the monster. The monster however has an advantage as he can use his senses to detect when the humans are near by. The monster can also track the humans footsteps to try and hunt them down. The humans can find resources in the maze to cover their trail and scent form the monster to try and lead him astray. There will be different monsters to play and different weather conditions that will have an affect on the map - such as rain making it harder for the monster to track you because of the added noise. This game will be available on all major platforms.

In the game Sound Ninja, you put your dodging skills to the test against "waves" of enemies in this endless runner. The enemies in this game are actual sound waves created by noise. This game uses the inbuilt microphone feature of smart phones, then projects the noise as an enemy. The more ambient noise you make, the more enemies will appear. The sound waves will also change in shape depending on the type of noise being created. For example high-pitch noises will be sharp and high up on the screen so you might have to duck under them. Whereas low-pitch noises will create smooth rolling wavelengths along the bottom of the screen that you will need to jump over. You can even choose to play this game in time to all of your favourite songs in an additional game mode that lets you compete with friends to obtain the best score.

The game Behind Closed Doors is an adventure game with a twist. The objective of the game is to open all 100 doors to reach freedom, however you don't know whats behind the doors. There could be a potion for you to use, a shield, a sword, food to restore your health, a monster for you to fight or a key. How they keys work are that you will be able to open the first 10 doors without a key, these are just standard wooden doors. The next 10 doors are a bit stronger and require a key to open, the items and monsters behind the doors are increased in ether difficulty (for the monsters) and strength (for the weapons and armour). The levels or doors in this case will get exponentially harder as you progress to keep the game challenging, you will need to use both skill when it comes to the turn based combat and rely on just a dash of luck when it comes to opening the right doors.

The Forger is a simple mobile game where you build your empire by forging fake ID's for underage teens so they can get into clubs and buy booze. You will begin in your sketchy van where people will approach you with a job of ether forging a ID or a passport. There will be mini games that you will face that will determine how good the job has been done. For instance the photo you take in the back of your van must be in focus or you will loose points. If the fake ID is not up to standard people will start getting bounced from clubs, they will then complain about you and your reputation will drop. Once you have made enough money, you can upgrade your camera from a phone camera to a professional camera and instead of taking photos in the back of your van you can purchase a studio with professional lighting. Higher profile clients will start to approach you and ask you to perform increasingly difficult jobs. Build your empire today...

In the game Hackoff you play online against other players in an attempt to steal their money via hacking. The mechanics will be similar to the GTA hacking mini game where you will be given a starting position and have to navigate though a maze without touching the walls. Players create their own firewall as such were they create their own maze and try to make it as challenging as possible. You will have to complete your own maze first in order to save it to prove that it is possible for other people to do. When hacking someone else you will see how much money is in their bank account so you can judge if it is worth the risk or not. You will get three attempts at hacking the other players firewall. If you fail all three times its game over, you won't be able to hack that person again and you will trigger an alarm that lets the other person hack you. You will also get penalised some money for failing the hack, that money will go to the player you tried to hack as a reward for having a challenging firewall. If you get hacked and loose some money a anti hacking program will activate for 24 hours where people won't be able to target you, unless you hack someone else. This stops people from going bankrupt from continuous being hacked by multiple players as this would be annoying. This game will be playable on all mobile platforms and will access the accelerometer in smartphones to control the hacking to make the game challenging.

In the game Language Barrier you play as a person who is traveling to a foreign country. This game is an interactive learning tool for people wanting to learn new languages in different scenarios. At the start of the game you can decide what your native language is and then you can decide what country you will be visiting. One Punch Man is an arcade beet em up style game, I was inspired by the Japanese webcomic however I have not read it myself. In this game you are a superhero with the ability to kill anything with one simple punch. This may seem like a very over powered superpower to have in the early levels of the game, however as you progress the game will get exponentially harder. There will be challenges and mini bosses along the way that act as checkpoints, these bosses will each have some sort of puzzle that you will have to solve to defeat them. This becomes an impossibly hard challenge later on in the game, similar to Super Meat Boy and The Impossible Game. Bosses will have minions that will come after you, they are more of a distraction that anything as you can line them up and take multiple enemies out with one swing of your arm. Bosses will have weapons such as rocket launchers that they will constantly fire at you, so as you are fighting off waves of minions to reach the boss you will also need to dodge the barrage of missiles coming your way. This just makes you want to punch him in the face even more. Once you finally punch the boss it will cut to an epic cinematic shot for extra levels of satisfaction!

Office Wars is a fun free to play game that targets people who want a quick fun experience. The game will essentially be a lot of mini games. Similar to the olympics however in an Office, where you will compete against your fellow workmates. There will be the 50m char dash, the computer toss, the table hurdles and many more events for you to compete against friends in. The game will have a ranking system similar to the olympics where each player will be given 3 attempts at the activity, medals will be given out to individuals at the end of each round. The player or team with the highest point count at the end wins. Gold = 3 points, Silver = 2 points and Bronze = 1 point. The catch is there will be a chance that your boss might catch you (messing around) and disqualify you from getting any points that round. There will be competitive tournaments held betweens Office teams, you will get put into lobbies and matched up with similar skilled players. Winner will get rewards that they can use to purchase skins for their office equipment.

Mr.Roboto is a capitalist style game. You begin as Mr.Roboto himself, a entrepreneur and robotics expert. He loves robots and everything there is about them. You begin making small robot toys for kids, making sure none of them are faulty or dangerous. You slowly build up enough money to buy expansions for your warehouse such as machines to build your robots for you and hiring new staff. As demand increases and you expand your business you will make the step into producing robots that get sold as household assistants. This puts you in a higher threshold, earning more money and unlocking many more upgrades to purchase. These upgrades will speed up the production process but will be expensive, they will however grant you more money in the long run. The final goal is to make artificially intelligent robots for the military. This game will be addictive by giving the user both short term goals such as upgrading equipment, and long term goals of getting to make artificially intelligent robots.

This is a game where you play as a backpacker, and it is your mission to travel around the world. You are given nothing but a backpack with the essentials (clothes, sleeping bag, toiletries etc), $2000 and a one way ticket to your country of choice. This will be your starting point and a map will be generated to show you where to go next. This map will also help you keep track of where you have been, which adds a fun competitive element where you can compare with friends who has been to what places. There will be a set number of countries to travel to in order to complete the 'around the world' goal.

Things won't always be smooth sailing, as you will find, different countries present unique challenges. You will have to be wary of what challenges the country you are in will be; for example you could catch malaria which will put you out of action or make it harder to travel or you could be robbed after hitch-hiking a ride with people who turn out to be not so nice. But there will also be rewards, as you could meet some friendly locals who give you helpful hints to get around the city, or if you win mini games you could gain travel vouchers which will help you save money.

You will have to be a creative problem solver to succeed at this game, working your way around challenges, being tactical and logical, yet an 'out of the box' thinker, just as you would have to be when travelling in real life. As a bonus the game will teach players interesting real facts about about the countries they visit.

The game will be able to be played on X-Box, PC and as an app for iPhone and Android phones. This broadens the amount of people who can play and enjoy this game, and allow a wide range of players to virtually explore the world through the eyes of their backpacker.

Rocket ball is a dodge ball inspired game with a FPS element. Each team will have a Rocket Ball Launcher, however the ammo (being the ball) is in the centre of the map. Players will have to make a decision to ether sprint for the ball in the middle or try to hang back and dodge the incoming fire only to retaliate later. The ball can be caught on the full with precise timing, where you catch the ball in your Launcher, however you will need to be a skilled veteran to pull this manoeuvre off. If a player is hit on the full he is out of the game can only be brought back if a teammate catches the ball on the full. Players will be equipped with an exo suit witch gives them the ability to dash and dodge around the map in a fast paced manner. Upgrades to your exo suit and Rocket ball Launcher can be made between rounds with credits earned from getting kills ect. First team to win 15 rounds will be the overall winners.

In Pot Luck you play as a flower in a pot just living life like everyone else. Until you get captured and stored in a barn. The main objective of this game is to escape the barn and to stay alive. To do this you must make sure you have enough sunlight to get through the level or it's game over. This game is similar to 'I am toast' in the way it will have similar moving mechanics and level layout. There will be windows that let sunlight in where you will have to stand to recharge. Sunlight acts as energy and will be represented as a stamina bar where you will not be able to move if you run out of stamina. If you fall from a high place such as a window sill and land on a hard surface you will crack your pot and take damage. Take too much damage and you will have to restart. You can however fall of a ledge and find something soft to land on such as a hay bale, this is a puzzle game after all. Find the key and make your great escape over 5 thrilling and challenging levels. This game is not for the weak and will test your mental strength and integrity, only the strong will prevail.

Evel Knievel is a daredevil and a well known stunt rider. I wanted to create a game around this where you begin as an amateur stunt rider just trying to make a name for yourself. You start riding a scooter doing tricks such as jumping a river in front of a small amount of people. As you build up a reputation for yourself as an accomplished stunt rider you will performing the infamous trick of jumping your bike over busses. The stunts will become wackier for instance you will be jumping over the grand canyon with a highly modified bike with wings. You will be able to customise your own character, what gear you wear. The vehicle you choose will also depend on the situation and will be full customisable with different paint jobs, engines and tyres. The rider will have funny and entertaining rag doll physics when they fall off the bike or unsuccessfully complete a stunt.

Pawned is based on the popular tv show pawn stars. In this game you start as a pawn broker in Las Vegas, with a small shop and the odd customer here and there. As you build up your reputation and stock more customers will be attracted to your store. When customers come into your store they can ether purchase stock in the store if you have any or they might approach you with interesting items that they wish to pawn or sell to you. Its your job to first assess the quality of the product to make sure your not buying a fake, and to haggle with the customer for the right price. If you drop your price too low they will be likely to walk out of your store. You can also call in a professional at an additional cost if your not too sure on the quality or price range of the product, they will help you with this. As you expand your store you will be able to hire new staff to help you run the business while your away. When you come back there will be a list of items that your staff have purchased for you while you have been away, some of these will be good, however if your staff is untrained they could make bad decisions for you. So make sure to train your staff.

This game is based on my interpretation of the Butterfly effect where if you travel into the past, and you happen step on a butterfly, you inadvertently effect the future in some way (ether positive or negative). In this game "The Butterfly Effect" you start in a small rural town as an ordinary person. However, one day you happen to stumble across a magical time traveling device. This allows you to go back into a random time period of the past for a limited amount of time where you can effect your current world by messing with the past. Your objective is to grow your lifestyle and town by effecting the past. Will the changes you make mess up your current life or will it make it exponentially better? Who knows only one way to find out, by trial and error.
