Match the Beat is a simple sound based game designed for mobile devices that will most likely require headphones to help block out external sounds (and not subject others to the games noises).

The game plays similar to memory games where the player picks a face down piece and then has to match that up with another piece that has the same image. In Match the Beat the player has to match the notes or tunes that each tile plays when clicked. The game relies on both memory and hearing.

As the player progresses through the levels the sounds and tunes that the player needs to match will become more similar to each other requiring the player to listen more carefully. The highest levels of the game will have the sounds clips slightly modified so that matching tunes will be harder as they sound different (being speed up or slowed down or having their pitches changed).
