The progression here has been swift. Starting a new puzzle is like starting a new game of civ!
On the reddit comp for this week. I did a pb on last week's comp too - the solves seem easier? Maybe it's just luck.
this is going well! Still with my own algs. Feel like I can get it down to 25.
still struggling to do daily entries after my holiday. LL training goes slow! This came from a nice scramble in a string of high-50 solves.
despite jetlag, hit a pb. In fact it was a weird streak: a mix of sub-50s and plus-60s.
as part of a 1:01.06 ao12 in cannon hill park spring sunshine
Getting faster and faster with the valk3, including my first sub 60! although it was a friendly scramble.
ao12 today is 1:14.01, which is almost 10s faster than yesterday.
New pb with my first-ever speed cube, the valk3! It's really hard to control (I can now start to work on my finger tricks) and this was a friendly yellow cross but still pleased with it.
using transitional. Think that's 2 pbs in two days. Yellow cross was friendly.
using f2l in the old method! Getting relatively stable 1:30ish times this way, which is starting to get competitive with the old method. And when it's fast it's very fast.
not had a pb for a few weeks, so this is nice. Not using f2l in this time but I feel my colour senses getting better.
Very friendly final corners, but I'll take it!
I forget to submit yesterday, even though I did like 8 solves, so I have no guilt in dropping yesterday's pb in for today. This has nothing to do with doing a 3 minute solve this morning.
sub 2 min! Really friendly top cross, and a new timing app, but still.
friendly yellow edges but also I just felt in the zone for most of this.
No notes, a decent scramble, and a pb! Not bad for a friday night.
middling scramble. Was able to optimise a few of the white corners on the fly, which was a first.
a nice scramble that left the yellow cross already done for me. Only needed the yellow corners fixing.
3:31.98 pb
I messed up the edges of the middle layer once, but the top cross was already there. Didn't need notes until the cross stage.
