The hardest and most boring part of a picture is no doubt, drawing the goddamn base/sketch for it. I do this so often where I draw 5-minute sketch, churn, 5-minute sketch, churn, repeat--that I forget where the fun really begins.
(In short, need to stop personal impulse to make something, anything 'new' each day)
I promise I'll get back on track with my submission times eventually. Late submit because I drew too late and waited til morning for better lighting.
Did some much needed shoe practice. I really need some prompts for myself, each day I sit in front of a blank canvas I feel like I don't know what to draw more and more.
Maybe I should focus on abstract art for a while.
Drew some quick sketches and doodles in my sketchbook today, but cant really get a well lit picture taken of it without a lamp. Hopefully we can get that tomorrow. So uploading on standby.
EDIT: done
Feeling sleepy. Guess I better hit the Java again. (Learning new programming language so yes slay me for stupid programming joke)
Still working on getting my hand used to drawing again. Man, I wanna draw productive stuff but it'll prob look wonky at this stage.
so drawing feels foreign now after 6 days of journeying lol
Man don't ever go on a road trip from Tennessee to Washington. Especially in the winter. All I can say is fuck you Montana, fuck. you. (Would love to visit you in the summer though <3)
Also glad to see everyone's keeping on well in streak though! And go newcomers!
i should draw in Tegaki again soon. so much easier to bullshit som--i mean--actively try experimental art challenges in it.
30 sec gestures for feetsies this time. And so I realized, "wow feet are hard this is why i kept avoiding this" lol
Also the 30 second figure gesture websites that I keep coming across are bullshit. Can't find any that provide a decent range of body types. If anyone knows a 30 second figure gesture site that has varied models of all ages and sizes, please share. I would prefer, specifically, a 30 second gesture site.
