Where is Mother is a 2D classic platformer game where you travel through a whimsical fantasy world to return a baby bunny to it's mother. In the level there will be pickups, power-ups, enemies and obstacles. Pickups will give points to the player and dying will remove points. The player has 3 chances to be damaged in the level before they have to start over from the last checkpoint.

To advance through each level you will have to find clues that show you the way to the mother bunny, that could be items such as a paw print, a tuft of fluff, or a scent. Once all the pieces have been collected then the exit of the level will be revealed and then player can advance to the next stage. After a stage is completed there will be a cut-scene to engage the players in the story line.

The aesthetic of the game is loosely based on the classic fairy-tale "Little Red Riding Hood". A little red hooded wolf will travel through a forest with many perils to try and return the baby rabbit to it's mother. It is also a play on the wolf vs bunny predator chain in nature, which feeds into the whimsical fantasy feeling of the game.
