An action RPG with MOBA elements set in the world of Quintalis (project of mine, better get used to me plugging it). The story arches over millennia, starting with the first arrival of incredibly powerful and destructive creatures called Magi on Quintalis in ancient times, threading its way through the rise and fall of a band of divine heroes, countless wars until finally coming to a climax with the fall of the Astral Gods. The player follows several groups of heroes with interconnected fates as they fight for survival, honour, riches or the favour of gods. Graphically, the game is very stylized and fun with leeway to get very, very dark in places. The gameplay is somewhat borrowed from Orochi Warriors, letting up to five players choose any relevant hero with their own sets of stats and abilities to fight against hordes of enemies led by five players of an opposing faction. The game of course needs a splitscreen mode, which is something a lot of games seem to be missing lately. As heroes fight on the same side, they level up and create bonds between them, strengthening the interplay between them further and further with stat boosts and aura affects. Each hero can be equipped with any of 3200 weapons which are procedurally generated from a combination of weapon type (which determines the basic handling and formula), crafting style (which adds additional balanced modifiers) and the material (which determines the weapon's power and behaviour). In terms of combat, every movement is meaningful and satisfyingly responsive, with players having to fight strategically in intricately designed huge battlefields. Creeps are strong enough to overpower the player easily if they aren't careful and fights between heroes are cinematic to say the least. Think of the combat as a combination between the Witcher 2/3 and Kingdom Hearts 2. Scenes in between battles are bridged by well animated cutscenes with good writing and cinematography, keeping them interesting and engaging.
