You play as a young Hermit Crab who has just been hatched from an egg on a tropical beach. You are alone with no sign of any parent. The first thing that catches your young hermit eyes is the almighty sea, but you're worried. You must grow overtime and become a big hermit crab with a very protective shell so that you can make your journey into the sea safely but before you can do that and win the game, you must embark on your life's journey to become that. You must find food in order to grow, find bigger shells before you can grow and progress yourself to be respected on the beach by the other crabs. When respected by other bigger hermit crabs, you can request to have their bigger shells if you find them the location of a shell that would better suit them. You can gain their respect by offering food, showing that you're not weak by defending yourself and finding them shells. When you have completed what you've needed to do on the beach and want to, you can enter into the sea which will end the game blissfully.
