This game is the practice of meditation, gamified, and designed to be used as an aid to effectively meditating.

You play in a sitting position (or whatever position you find comfortable), with the device placed on somewhere on your body (ex. Lap while sitting). The aim of the game in short is to go as long as possible without moving - which assumes a still posture. You compete with your own age, gender, nationality demographic, and with you're past progress.

The game uses the device accelerometer which is used to measure and track movement patterns. Slight movements such as movement caused from breathing etc. are taken into account to ensure players don't 'cheat' (like leaving a device on the floor).

'Meditation' users screening questions when setting up a profile about your body, lifestyle, which allows it to create a profile relative to your demographic stats. This is then used to set the parameter for how long you have to meditate for. This means players are effectively competing on a difficulty suited to them.

This game serves to offer a method to meditation, which aims to address problems that stem from western societies' difficulty to 'disconnect' from the ever-increasing stress of every day life. Numerous studies already show links between daily stress and health conditions such as anxiety disorders and heart disease.
