Book reading simulator is a first person viewpoint game where the player is tasked with reading gorgeously rendered, high polygon books with thousands of individual unique pages. The player first has the option of choosing where to read the book, perhaps the armchair within the lounge or on the large deckchair on the deck. We soon learn that the player character is extremely strong and has trouble controlling his or her own strength. As such, the controls are very delicate for turning the pages of the book, and there is a high chance of accidentally ripping the pages of the book whilst trying to turn them which would send them flying away. The player can retrieve these and attempt to reattach them with sellotape, but this is also very hard to control. The controls are very much similar to surgeon simulator in their execution. Other such challenges include wind, which can cause the player to lose their place in the book. If the player is reading the book for too long, they may also salivate upon the pages and render them unreadable. When the player has read the book, they have the option of choosing a new one. If a book becomes too damaged, the game is lost and must be started again.
