Posse is an isometric game, in which the player controls a group of up to six characters which make up their "Posse". The game is a real time beat-em-up set in the mean streets of a futuristic cyberpunk style city. Gunpowder has long been phased out, and as such guns are no longer used as ammunition is impossible to come by. People instead fight with a variety of improvised hand to hand weapons, knuckle dusters, glass bottles filled with acid attached to chains, high powered slingshots that can fire sharp nails etc... are all common sights. The game is either single or multiplayer, single player involved completing a campaign with missions such as target escort, or simply defeating other gangs. Multiplayer includes game modes such as capture the flag etc... The game is very similar in style to the old Syndicate series, and posse members can be recruited and upgraded between missions.
