A Game where you must Generate and Supply Power for Mining Operations
You have recently started up a new laboratory that specializes in Energy
What kind of Energy?
All kinds of energy, Ranging from Simple Man Power to Advanced Energy such as Converting Particles into Power However, you don't start with everything at once You must develop and research these energies, However to develop them you require resources and to get resources you require power Each form of energy is equal to a certain amount of power per tick Some Machines require a certain amount of power to run and also require a Certain amount of Power in a duration of time to not break down
Conversion Chart (Listed in Power per Tick)
Power per Tick = PpT (1 PpT)
KiloPower per Tick = KPpT (1 Thousand PpT)
MegaPower per Tick = MPpT (1 Million PpT)
GigaPower per Tick = GPpT (1 Billion PpT)
TeraPower per Tick = TPpT (1 Trillion PpT)
PetaPower per Tick - PPpT (1 Thousand TPpT)
Each unit of Energy also comes with a Heat Output The Formula for Power per Tick to Heat output Conversion is easy
100 Heat per Cycle * Power per Tick
1 Cycle = 60 Ticks
(100 / 60) * PpT
If Power is 20 TeraPower per Tick
(100 / 60) * 20 Trillion = 33333333333333.333333333333333333
(That Big Number Above * 60) = 2000000000000000
2000000000000000 = 2 Quadrillion
20 TeraPower per Tick outputs 2 Quadrillion Heat per Cycle Machines that require Extreme amounts of power like that Generally have a High Heat Capacity before they break down Resources also have a Heat Capacity which is generally Many times less than the Machines heat output If the Heat is not Contained resources can be destroyed before they are harvested Requiring expensive cooling systems Eventually you can create cooling systems that can automatically keep Machines cooler but until that point When a machine becomes too hot you should turn it off for the following reasons 1. it saves power and 2. it saves the resources from being destroyed The goal of the game is too provide power to collect resources which in-turn help to create better methods of creating power Which in-turn itself helps to power better machines that provide more resources to create better methods of creating power Using these obtained resources you can craft electronics and other technologies which you can use to create a space ship Which can be used to obtain resources only found in space you will be given a grid in which you build circuit boards for the ship, each ship also has a certain available space for circuit boards, So you really have to optimize for space eventually you might discover techniques that will work well by making the circuit boards smaller while keeping the advanced wiring which will let you add even more to it The Ship Creator will allow for alot of flexibility and complexity when it comes to building ships you just have to figure out different strategies to get the most out of whats available, Want to use that cooling system as a weapon to freeze enemies?, Go right ahead just figure out how to route the cold air into a weapons module, or perhaps you want to melt your enemies?, Simple! have heat get directed to the weapons module instead of having the cooling system removing it You can test what the circuit board will do while in the ship creator, and once you are happy click create and the game will analyse the parts and setup everything When you build a ship you can choose between different circuit boards which will have some default parts or you can choose from a blank slate The default boards to choose from are Large Board: Perfect for creating deadly systems! (Parts by Default: Energy Module, Weapons Module, Cooling Module)
Standard Board: Your average board (Parts by Default: Energy Module, Weapons Module)
Micro Board: For those who want a challenge (Parts by Default: Micro Energy Module)
Some basic parts that you will have at first
Power Cables - Made using Steel
Basic Gun - Made using Steel and Stone
Energy Module - Made using Steel, Power Cables and Iron
As you collect resources you will be able to develop newer parts such as Smaller Wires or even smaller modules so you can make your circuit boards even smaller!
