Who doesn't remember the popular cartoon Zoids? Battle Mech is a game based on that concept where the player takes control of one of three mechanical creations in the shape of a wild beast and fight in tournament like situations. The player pilots the Battle Mech from within the confines of the cockpit, either going for a first person view where they can see the HUD which really all of the information they need to fight effectively, or a third person view where the player has a more tactical view of the battlefield, but less information available about the status of their own and enemy Mechs.

The player begins out choosing one Mech from three which decides which guild they join. Each guild has its own unique benefits and draw backs through established connections with companies and governments. To prevent the misuse of these deadly Mechs, governments around the world installed a Virtual Intelligence in each mech. This VI detects the use of weapons outside pre-set skirmish or tournament battles and disables the entire Mech upon detection, so if the player is controlling their Mech and decides it would be fun to gun down innocent civilians inside the city, they will receive a warning for arming their weapons, then get shut down if they attempt to pull the trigger.

Upon completion of each battle, dependant on the how well the player did, the team receives a pay-out which they can use to repair and upgrade the Battle Mech or purchase information about a rival teams weaknesses. Guilds also have access to specific upgrades that other guilds may not have access to on top of the regular. Upgrades range from limb replacements to additional weapons. Though the core of the Batte Mech will always remain the same, how it fights is completely up to the player. For example, a Heavy Battle Mech may be a visual representation of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, but instead of having spindly for arms and two powerful legs, it can replace those arms with cannons and missile launchers and the legs can become powerful anti-gravity engines to make glide across the ground rather than run. Of course, each of these upgrades has strengths and weaknesses, it is up to the player to discover them.

After a few of these skirmishes, the player will be given their first opportunity to participate in a tournament where they will meet the games antagonist who pilots a wicked looking quad-legged Lion-Class Battle Mech, bristling with armaments. From here the player will be introduced to the plot behind the game where the antagonist and his guild are out to dominate the world through the manipulation and infiltration of the government hosting tournament: Gralea, the most influential government in the world.

The payer will have to fight alongside his team of allies to prevent the antagonist and his guild from completing their ambitions by collecting enough influence and money to upgrade their Battle Mechs and collect allies to fight them. If the player can defeat them before they gain control of enough governments, they will have succeeded. But will that be enough to take them out for good?

- Awesome looking Battle Mechs based of creatures in reality and in myth.
