Rise through the the ranks of nobles the old fashioned way, by backhanding your way to the top and duelling the men to the top. Be careful, many are going to be far out of your league at first, you can attempt to cross paths after lavish balls are held, maybe take the place of a low rank noble, but high enough to earn a spot inside. With new titles comes access to better duelling swords or guns, only one or the other so choose your battles wisely, especially since the challenged gets to pick the weapon. Show your different levels of contempt by challenging a noble with different accoutrements; with a bare hand, the usual, honourable way. A piece of held food, to show contempt. Maybe even a gauntlet, who knows you may end the fight before it begins, although that may come back to haunt you later when they themselves seek a duel.
Gameplay would be in two parts, the party/ball where you meet people, impress women and challenge men. much lighter and more humorous. The duels are first person, but from the perspective of the other person in the duel, you have to line up the pistol in slow motion from their point of view, you will know the gun is lined up when you can see the glint off the end of the barrel. The sword fights are also from their perspective, giving you an edge that you can try foresee what they do and learn how they telegraph attacks

Game 2 Fantasy game where every decision counts! Born to a commoner family you are raised in a monastery after the village was wiped out, leaving you the sole survivor. Once you are older you are sent out as a worker for the monastery to earn money to care for the others and to pay your dues to them. Chose between a variety of classes of fighting, however each style means i different childhood, growing up as a monk means staying at the monastery, growing up as a swordsman means training as a guardsman, training as a magic weilder means training at the academy. From there every decision effects your character and the world. At first all you can do is change yourself and how people treat you(which can also affect your appearance, growing red skin, horns and blowing eyes, or to glow with magic and change your skin and your eyes go white, or your skin turns alabaster and a ghost of wings floats out your back) but eventually you can change the world, save it or bring it to ruin, siding with gods, devils or deciding to keep them both out, or even deciding to let them hash it out without you as their avatar. As you progress you unlock more powerful armor, weapons and magic which effects how well you do in combat, not just cosmetic.
