Power Golf is a mini golf game in which the player is able to pick up items, similar to the ones in Mario Kart. The game is normally just a regular mini golf game, until the ball rolls over a panel on the ground. This will give the player a random item from a selected group, which the player is able to use by pressing a specific button. This would activate the item, and give the player's ball the effect of the item for a certain amount of time. Items could include boosts, springs to jump, free hits and more. Different courses would have different physics. For example, a space course could have minimal gravity, allowing for huge jumps and large gaps. Other levels could have physics aspects, for example the ball floating down a river in a barrel. The rest of the game would be based around regular mini golf, with the player attempting to get the ball in the hole in the least number of hits possible.
