I sometimes like to do covers when I'm feeling stuck or having writer's block. I plan on primarily posting original works but can I post covers periodically?

The general format of Weekly Beats (the inspiration for this) is original work, and I like the idea of sticking to that.

I totally understand breaking blocks with covers, but a few other covers projects I've been involved in have existed in a legal grey zone--if they attract any attention, they tend to get shut down. So it seems better to focus on original work, where the rights are held by the person who's uploading the piece.
