Realized that one big mistake I made yesterday was rotating the plane marking the side of the head, rather than just changing it's angle against the y-axis (technically, that's also a rotation. But whatever.) so I tried again with the face pointing more and more to the right. And then I flipped over the paper, and started it all over. This time with more circle and ellipse guides and rulers. Still struggling a bit with the looking down faces this way, but it's sooo much better now.
I have to return back to Berlin tomorrow. And I've only just settled into holiday mode :(
Had a small family gathering today. My dad, his three siblings and all children and partners. I think we were just shy of 40 people. But nobody's counting.
Went to the tram museum today. I obviously have not learned what a tram looks like.
've been worried. The last times I traveled back to Switzerland, my train's always been on time. But today Deutsche Bahn finally returned back to form and I had a 50 minute delay.
I think I'm getting somewhat consistent at at least resembling the person and facial expression in the reference.
