Day 1350 of learning how to draw: global game jam is over. And our incremental game didn't turn out quite as well as we hoped for, but is surprisingly playable, and even addictive. Mostly because it hides it's biggest balancing flaws behind a layer of not-quite-as-bad UI.

Randomly remembered an impossible wood joint I saw in Japan. So I looked it up, and attempted to draw it.
It finally happened. I had some friends over and we got drunk while watching the second season of horizon in the middle of nowhere. It's a bit more focused than the absolute mess that was the first season. It's still an absolute mess though. I do not understand how this show seems to have any unironic fans. Though this time we had one person with us who doesn't drink alcohol, and it's nice to know that they understood even less of the plot than we did.
Watched the movie today. It's okay. The musicians and animators must have had a lot of fun making it. The writers who wanted to tell a good story probably got really frustrated with management.
