I realized one cool thing about the under-hand pencil grip. It prevents me entirely from drawing curves with my wrist - which is a habit I need to get rid off of anyway. But it'll definitely take a while to get used to.
Randomly remembered an impossible wood joint I saw in Japan. So I looked it up, and attempted to draw it.
It finally happened. I had some friends over and we got drunk while watching the second season of horizon in the middle of nowhere. It's a bit more focused than the absolute mess that was the first season. It's still an absolute mess though. I do not understand how this show seems to have any unironic fans. Though this time we had one person with us who doesn't drink alcohol, and it's nice to know that they understood even less of the plot than we did.
Watched the movie today. It's okay. The musicians and animators must have had a lot of fun making it. The writers who wanted to tell a good story probably got really frustrated with management.
