Invited some friends over. We got drunk and watched the first season Horizon in the middle of nowhere. What a horrible mess of an anime. The feeling of relief at the end of the last episode was so immense, we immediately started making plans for the second season. Fuck...
It finally happened. I had some friends over and we got drunk while watching the second season of horizon in the middle of nowhere. It's a bit more focused than the absolute mess that was the first season. It's still an absolute mess though. I do not understand how this show seems to have any unironic fans. Though this time we had one person with us who doesn't drink alcohol, and it's nice to know that they understood even less of the plot than we did.
Watched the movie today. It's okay. The musicians and animators must have had a lot of fun making it. The writers who wanted to tell a good story probably got really frustrated with management.

@leonheart515 probably for the better. It's not the worst show out there. But somehow it tries to be every anime-genre at once half of the time, and spends the other half (badly) exposition dumping some very confusing lore. Perfect for confused, drunk, social watch parties. But probably horrible for anybody giving it an earnest try.
Looked it up and I apparently watched 1 episode and dropped it back in 2015 lol
