this MPE thing kind of crazy. it works on individual midi notes. so u can have a chord and do each individual note bend however you want

he was doing it on pads. think he did it manually with some regular pitch bend device or just in the synth vst. but with this MPE ting u can now see the amount of semitones its bending and type them in easily
