Overview:

This is a mobile crafting game in which you play as a jewellery smith. The goal of the game is to craft jewellery that has been ordered by customers within a certain amount of time and become a world renowned creator. The game is set in a forge and you must craft each piece of jewellery as per the order that has been placed. When you initially start out you do not have access to quality materials and must slowly build you business and wealth by perfectly crafting the jewellery. The amount you are paid for a commission depends on how accurate and how quickly you created the jewellery, and as you earn more money you can upgrade your forge and tools, and order more rare and expensive materials to work with. The gameplay revolves around you being presented with a sketch of what you are supposed to be making, with a list of the components you will need. You must then craft the item as accurately as you can in the forge.

Overview:

This is a fantasy game in which you play as a monster and you have to destroy and invade towns and cities. You start off designing the initial appearance of your monster, choosing a class based on fantasy creatures like dragons, griffons or sea serpents. You can then put some skill points into a skill tree to choose your initial specialisations. When you first start out you are weak and can only invade villages and small settlements. Doing this helps you to level up, and you can then upgrade your skills further and customise you appearance more. As you play you will face threats from the humans, such as hunting parties being sent out, monster hunters tracking you, as well as other monsters attacking you or trespassing into your territory. The goal of the game is to become the ultimate monster with control over all of the land. Once you take over the kingdom you win, and if you are killed the game ends and you have to start from the beginning as a new monster.

Overview:

This is a mobile puzzle and drawing game. You are presented with a photo of something, whether it be an object, a building, an animal or an environment. You are shown the image for a short amount of time and after that has passed you are given a white screen to draw on. You have to draw the image you saw, but you can only do it with one line, meaning your finger cannot leave the screen without that being the end of the picture. This means you have to think carefully about where and how you are going to start. You have an unlimited amount of time to do you drawing, however once your finger stops touching the screen the drawing is submitted and you are given a rating out of ten. Then you move on to the next photo and drawing. This game is intended to be very fast paced, allowing for quick progression into the more harder levels. Harder levels involve much more complex pictures to draw or a shorter period of time to view them.

Overview:

This is an mobile game based around the idea of cultivation and horticulture. The goal of the game is to collect new species of plants and breed them, cultivate them and help them thrive. You have mix DNA to create plants with certain traits from other plants, allowing you to create your own species of unique plant. Some of these plants can be carnivorous, or poisonous, and more. Once you have finished developing a plant you can pick a place in the world to plant it and whilst you develop other plants you can get updates on how the plant is going. If the plants you have placed in the world are not thriving you can have it be spread to other countries via birds or pollination, and if it is causing problems you can have the plant poisoned or removed. There is no real end to this game,allowing you to continue to upgrade and develop new plants.

Overview:

This is a mobile fantasy game where you have to craft miracles and curses by drawing and combining symbols. You are presented with a situation and you have to react to the situation with a curse or a miracle; in the initial stages of the game you are taught the basic symbols for curses and miracles, and you can unlock new symbols as you progress. You have to make the choice whether to approach the situation with a miracles or a curse; miracles create positive magic whereas curses naturally cause negative magic. To cast a spell you must draw the symbol with your finger on the screen and then submit it. You can combine any symbol with any other symbol, allowing you to create combos with varying positive and negative effects. Each situation is randomly generated, meaning there are many different outcomes and game experiences. You have a spell book in the corner of the screen that you can access to show you all of the spell combinations you have unlocked and casted.

Overview:

This is a mobile horror game in which you have to fight and escape at monsters. The game works through the camera of your phone, giving you a view of whatever you are pointing the camera at. This game works best inside in a dark place. The goal of the game is to walk around your house or whatever area you are in, using your phone camera to navigate and find collectible objects give you the ability to snap photos of the monsters pursuing you, which will deal damage to them. The monsters that are randomly generated and show up on your camera as though they are there in real life. You have to avoid looking at them otherwise they will advance towards you and you will get a game over. Whenever you see a monster, you have to turn the camera quickly and move away from it. You can record your gameplay so that you can watch play backs of your horrifying experiences, and every play through is different.

Overview:

This is an online chat based game centred around the idea of the turing test. The goal of the game is to determine whether or not you are talking to a computer that is randomly generating responses or a real life person who is also playing the game. The player is put into an online chat and must talk to another person, and can type anything they want provided it is not offensive. It is best to ask specific questions that only a human could answer correctly, and by doing so you will eventually determine what is real and what isn't. At any time during the game you can click on a button to submit your answer regarding whether or not the person you are talking to is real or a machine. If you get it wrong then you can enter another chat with a different being and try again. If you get it right then you are rewarded with the knowledge that you will likely be one of the first targets when artificial intelligence inevitably rises up to destroy us all, because robots are people too.

Overview:

This is a mobile game in which you have to throw lemons that explode on impact at structures in order to cause them to collapse. You swipe on the screen in the direction you want to throw the lemon, and then you have to tilt the screen to further fine tune the direction it will fall in. The aim is to destroy as many structures as possible within the time limit, after which you will be given a rating and move on to the next level. You get a higher rating from destroying more buildings on one level and will receive bonuses for throwing multiple lemons or target specific weak points on the structures. As you progress throughout the level the structures become more complex and difficult to topple, making the game more difficult to play. The levels are randomly generated and are endless, meaning you can keep playing forever provided you are willing to dedicate the time.

Overview:

This is a game in which you have to do everything you can to cause the game to crash within a certain amount of time. You start by choosing the difficulty, which will determine how long you have to crash the game. From there you can design your own character, though you must do so in the most ridiculous way possible. Once you have finished designing your character you choose which environment or setting you want to play in and then you begin. To crash the game you can build or spawn items, creatures and people, however you can only spawn on of each particular item so that you can't cheat by spawning a thousand of the same items. You get points for creating incredibly weird situations and you can edit the size, colours and design of the things you can spawn. This game will likely end up in a mess of creations by the time you reach the end of your designated time, after which you will receive a rating based on how many points your earned from your weird creations. Then the game crashes.

Overview:

This is a mobile dress up game in which you have to dress up pugs in different outfits. The goal of the game is to create the perfect combination of clothes on the pug to raise the cuteness meter to the required amount to proceed to the next level. You are presented with a pug sitting in a dressing room on the right side of the screen, with a variety of clothes to choose from on the left side of the screen. There are different categories of clothes, such as hats, shirts, jackets, pants, skirts, shoes and socks, along with accessories and bonus costumes. You have a limited amount of time to create a clothing combination that raises the cuteness meter, and if you run out of time or don't dress the pug cute enough then you have to retry the level. The clothes and accessories are randomly generated on each level but each item has a different cuteness value that can be used with other items to create combos, which raises the cuteness meter faster.

Overview:

Thriller is a first person horror game in which you navigate an abandoned house dreamscape, collecting memories to Remember the Time that has passed. When you collect enough memories, you can unlock doors and this will allow you to progress deeper into your dreams. However, You Are Not Alone. You are also being stalked by a mysterious creature that Wanna Be Startin' Something, and if you are caught by the creature you die in one hit and must restart the level. Who is it, you ask? The creature can only be described as some kind of Man in the Mirror, a being from your subconscious that can only be seen in reflective surfaces. This is Bad, and thus your character is armed with a mirror, which you use to look around corners to determine where the monster is. The goal of the game is to collect all of the memories and Beat It to the next level of the house. This is game has something of an endless runner to it, in that you continue your progression deeper and deeper into your character's subconscious in randomly generated levels which become harder to navigate safely. You Don't Stop Til You Get Enough and quit the game.

Overview:

This is a 2D mobile platforming game in which you have to dodge vegetables that are being thrown at you. You play as a character with an aversion to all things green or leafy. You have to navigate your way through the platform environment, all the while avoiding being hit by vegetables that are being thrown at you. If you get hit by a vegetable, it knocks you down onto the level below you and takes away one of your three lives. This means that you could potentially die instantly if you are hit by the vegetables, as there may not be a ledge or surface below you and you could fall into the kill zone. If you run out of lives or fall off the screen you have to restart the level. There are power ups and extra lives to be found around the level, however they are usually in perilous positions and would require you to detour on your way to the exit. Once you reach the exit you move on to the next level.

Overview:

This is an endless runner style mobile game in which you need to high five as many people as you can within a limited amount of time. You take control of a character running down a path, with a view from behind the character. There are people on both sides of you and the will stick their hands out at random times. You have to tap on the hands in order to make your character high five them, which will get you points. Simultaneously you must keep an eye on the path you are running and avoid tripping on debris in the way. You swipe up to jump over things and swipe down to slide under things. You only get points and bonuses from high fiving people so you have to move around the road and high five people rather than focusing on running for as long as possible. The game ends when you trip over.

Overview:

This is a game based around the idea of character creation, however the goal of the game is to create the most disturbing weird looking creation ever. You are presented with a conventionally attractive default model of a face and you have to edit the character with the character sliders in order to make some kind of monstrous creation. You gain points for doing outrageous designs, however once you have adjusted a slider you cannot go back and adjust it, and you can only adjust a certain amount of features per level, so you have to make your decisions count. Once you are happy with your creation, you click the submit button and you are given an horrific-o-meter rating and proceed to the next level. The further you proceed into the game, the more access you are given to new character sliders which allow you to edit in further detail.

Overview:

This is a puzzle and learning mobile game which centres around the idea of synonyms. The player is presented with a list of various words, with one of the words being fixed in place at the top. The goal of the game is to organise the words from most like to least like the definition word at the top of the list. Each of the words are synonyms of the main word, however they become more convoluted and unlikely as you progress. You will often be presented with a whole bunch of strange and unlikely words and you must decide for yourself whether they are actually synonyms or not. This game works in levels, with it being relatively easy to begin with and naturally becoming harder as you go. When you clear a level you are shown the correct answers and are given a ranking. If you got more than half correct then you may progress to the next level, whereas if you got less than half then you must repeat a different variation of the level.

Overview:

This is a game in which you are a dragon trainer collecting, looking after and raising abandoned baby dragons and eggs in a world where dragons are dying out. You begin by choosing an area to explore on a map. Once you have done this, you explore this environment until you find an abandoned dragon egg. From then on you must take your egg back to your base and take care of it until it hatches. It will take real time to hatch so you can leave it overnight if you choose to. You can warm the egg and put blankets on it and do other such things to protect it until it hatches. When it does finally hatch you must balance nurturing and caring for the dragon alongside training it how to fly and breathe magical elements. You can bring the dragon along with you in your search for other dragons and you can raise and care for multiple dragons at a time. The goal of the game is to basically build and manage a thriving sanctuary for dragons. When they grow up you can release them into the wild to repopulate the dragons.

Overview:

Crystal Garden is a peaceful and calming mobile game. The basis of the game is that you plant, grow and tend to various magical crystals. You are presented with an interactive magical garden filled with bioluminescent bugs and flowers. To plant a crystal, you find a place to plant it then tap the screen to dig a hole. You then select the crystal salts you wish to grow from your inventory and plant it in the ground. Each initial salt produces a randomly generated crystal growth, and once it has grown you can harvest it to grown other variations of that type of crystal. The crystals grow in real time, taking up to a few hours to fully form. This means that you can leave a recently planted crystal overnight and wake up to a beautiful crystal structure. You tend to the garden by watering the crystals and feeding them magical substances. Each crystal has a different magical property depending on what you do to it while it is growing. You can also unlock different environments such as crystal caves or magical springs. There is no real end to this game as it is something calming to do when you need to relax.

Overview:

Nah is a mobile game which centres around the idea of texting. The goal of the game is to reply to some texts and avoid other ones. Replying to the good texts get you points whereas indulging the annoying people and texting them back makes you lose points. You are presented with a messaging screen and various texts will pop up for a limited time. You have to tap on the ones you want to reply to and swipe away the ones you want to ignore. Once you have tapped on a text message you will reply and then you will receive a reply in turn. What follows is a randomly generated conversation. You can keep going with the text conversations but you must juggle ignoring and replying to other texts as well, and if the conversation you are maintaining goes bad then you should end it by swiping. You get more points for ending conversations before they get out of hand and lose points if you keep replying to annoying people. The game never really ends and has more of an endless runner feel in that you try to get a far as possible.

Overview:

Rage is a stress relief mobile game designed specifically for you to channel you anger towards your terrible wifi connection and technology in general. You are given control of a floating sledge hammer and must smash and destroy various pieces of technology by swiping your finger on the screen. The faster you swipe, the more damage you deal and the more points you get, and speed is important because each piece of technology only remains for a short while on the screen. You can also get extra points by destroying a certain number of things in a row. For example if you destroy several apple products in a row then you get bonus points. The goal of the game is to just destroy as much as you can to gain as many points as you can, with no real ending. However the game does become more difficult as you progress. You can unlock other weapons of destruction like a chain saw, a jack hammer and a baseball bat covered in spikes. You get an achievement if the game crashes while you're playing.

Overview:

Tower is a mobile decision making game with a swiping mechanic reminiscent of Tinder. The aim of the game is to collect resources and build successful cities, which eventually grow to become your empire. You are presented with two different options in terms of building, constructing and conquering. The player must choose one by swiping left or right. Each option provides a different path and will impact the future of your city. Your choices can lead to your success or downfall, however this may not be evident immediately and could instead come into play later. After making a choice, you see the initial results and are then presented with another choice as your empire grows, meaning you need to pay attention and focus. You can choose to expand, withdraw, invade, and more. You win the game when you have successfully created an empire that spans the globe, but you lose if you are overthrown.

Overview:

This is a building and management game in which the player must collect resources and construct shelters for survivors in a post apocalyptic wasteland. In doing so, you form communities and build larger settlements and gain strength, and can eventually challenge other powers in the wasteland. You start out with a small group and people and must elect one of them as leader. This is the character you play as. You can send the others from your group out to scavenge for supplies or look for other survivors, and you can assign various building assignments to them. You will face danger from bandits, monsters and mercenaries, disease and pollution from radiation, as well mutiny and rebellion. You can build a community of safety and peace or you can form a gang of violent raiders. It is all up to the player and the decisions you make when faced with a choice. For example, you can send a party out to search for supplies, and can make them steal, trade or murder to achieve their goals. The game ends when the player you have chosen as your leader dies, and after that you are presented with a short epilogue detailing your impact on the world and your legacy.
