The game starts as a newly formed political party has been elected to govern, promising to advocate strengthened morals for the good of the public. You are the head librarian of one of the largest libraries in your country, and so it is your responsibility to care for a vast collection of books. As the new party settles into power however, you find that they start requesting the disposal of texts deemed to be against the best interests of the nation. You must save the books from destruction any way you can. Early on, it is enough to simply hide them in the nooks and crannies of the library, but the government officials will start to require you to dispose of them while supervised. Your supervisors and censors will become more numerous and strict, and automated surveillance systems may force you to make use of stairwells and bathrooms for secrecy. The gameplay focuses on the player trying to stealthily preserve the library's collection, through the creation of hidden archives, hastily written duplicates and burned original copies, and many other methods to outsmart and outlast the increasingly tyrannical ruling party.

You are a Private investigator for hire. You will start out with simple missions to start with, where's my cat? For example. Moving on to bigger and better jobs with the more renown you get. You can act within a grey area. Breaking in or threatening someone isn't outside of your arsenal but you might end up finding you start working for the not so great people of your city. As you progress you will learn new techniques to help you with your trade, these techniques will tailor towards your kind of investigating. There will be a big underlying plot as you move through the story from mission to mission finding that some pieces from earlier on in the game fit into the bigger picture. There will be set difficulties, easy will generally give away the clues you are looking for, medium requires you to look into things a little more but there will be hints along the way and hard where there is no help at all and the only way to progress is to look into everything yourself. the game will be played with the option to play third person or first with the ability to switch.

Have you ever seen an adorable dog out in public and wished you could steal it? Of course you have. This game allows you to pirate adopt virtual versions of real life dogs and carry them around with you inside your smartphone.

Summary

Through technology that may or may not have been invented yet, this app will use the camera on your mobile device to identify any dog and create its virtual likeness right there on your screen. From there, you can take it home and love it and care for it without the owner knowing. Congratulations, you have successfully pirated a dog.

Gameplay

This game allows you to feed, bath, train, and play with your bootleg dogs. It also works with the pedometer on your smartphone to track how many kilometres you walk, so you can select the 'walk' option to put your dog on a leash and have him trot along with you. The more happy and well looked after your dogs are, the more treasures they will find for you, which will enable you to buy more food and toys for them. There is also a widget that enables your dog to walk around on your homescreen so that he can let you know when he needs something.

In this game, you play as a government agent and your job is to spy on people and decide who's the criminal without being detected.

The government has recently passed a virus infecting computers all over the nation allowing you to access the webcams of everyone in the country without the user's permission, even if the computer is off. However, the software wasn't able to bypass the webcam notification light on most webcams, meaning if you look through someone's webcam, they can see a green light pointing back at them, meaning you've been detected.

The aim of the game is to find a criminal that matches the description you're given. You're giving an image of a criminal with some basic details about them and information about the accused crime. The government has been able to close in on ten different webcam feeds of suspects that fit the visual description of the criminal, and it's your job now to find the criminal without being caught and before it's too late.

This game will play similar to a point and click game, where you have vision of one screen at a time with minimal control of the camera. If the person you're looking at manages to turn to look at his/her computer, they will rush to disable their webcam and you will have lost the game, not knowing if they were the criminal or not. If you manage not to get caught, you need to scan their environment for clues relating to the case, for example weapons, drugs, or suspicious activity pertaining to the crime they're being accused of. If you're sure of the one person you're looking at is the correct person, you can send a swat team to arrest them and your job for the day is done.

Pyramid Panic is a top down arcade style game where your character wakes up, disorientated, in some sort of dungeon, which he later learns is the dungeon of a pyramid. A pyramid he had broken into and passed out in after a heavy night of drinking. The aim of the game is to get safely out of the pyramids dungeon without being hurt or getting lost and dying.

There is a twist though. The dungeon is so dark, and you have barely any light sources meaning you can only see on square around you. This can cause problems as you wont be able to see upcoming traps or objects flying towards you.

There are 5 levels to the pyramid, each becoming increasingly easier, as you ascend towards an exit, so getting through the start of the game is the hardest part. You can not save, or load checkpoints. If you die, you must create a new character and start your escape again, possibly finding your last characters remains on your way out.

The map randomly generates in front of you, meaning that it could either take mere minutes to escape, or hours before you find your way out, but you can map your progress as you go, by either attempting to either track your progress, or draw down familiar markings and objects a,ong your way, but only if you can find enough charcoal and papyrus to do so.

Freezing Point

Genre: Platformer/Puzzle

In Freezing Point, you play as a mountain climber taking on the great Himalayan mountain range.

Upon climbing up each mountain, your climbing partner falls into a crevasse. Your goal is to get him out before the mountain becomes too treacherous for you to continue with your efforts.

Gameplay:

Freezing Point is a different take on a classic platformer styled game. In Freezing point, you must navigate your way down a Crevasse and rescue your partner, and then make your way back to the surface. The whole rescue must be completed within the given time limit, or both of you will be stuck.
While descending, the player will have to abseil to the bottom. The further down they descend, the darker the crevasse will become. The player will also have to work out a strategy to ascend back to the surface.

This will involve tying rope around pieces of ice, setting up carabiners, and placing flares in advantageous positions.
This mechanic is one of the key elements that makes Freezing Point different from the classic platformer genre. The player will essentially be creating the path, and will have to balance efficiency while descending and speed on the ascension.

When the player reaches the bottom of the crevasse, they will meet up with their partner and begin the ascent to the surface again. The way the player ascends the level is completely dictated by the player's planning on the way down. Any corners that are cut on the descending aspect of the game will be reflected while trying to navigate back up.
This will require players to consider how they can use the natural formations of each level to their advantage, and save as much time as possible.

As the player progresses through the game, the level difficulty will increase. This will be reflected through the complexity and shape of the crevasse, and the natural formations that can both benefit and become an obstacle for the player.

Platforms:

PC, Console

Target Audience:

16-32

In this game, the player is a budding new pirate who has just caught on to the profitability of selling pirated VHS tapes. As a new 'entrepreneur' you will be responsible for getting the movies, copying them, and distributing them to your target audiences, all without getting caught. This game will take place over the decades, with technology ranging from VHS all the way to Blu-Ray. The player themselves will see this through both first person and third person.

When first starting out, the player will have a limited amount of money and have to search their town and neighbouring cities the world for the cheapest place to buy the master copies from employees of movie theatres. They must watch out however, if they talk to the wrong person, they can be caught. From there they will have to solve puzzles to successfully copy over the content from the original masters. Once done they must market it to the correct audience to get the greatest profit and continue building a global piracy empire.

As the player progresses in both the timeline and profit, more options will become available to them, such as getting partners in their business, being able to copy multiple movies, starting a website, etc. The bigger empire the player builds, the more the authorities will take notice and want to come after them. The player will need to continue to be smart.

Waves isn't necessarily about water. It's a mobile application about physics and particles. It just includes a trendy sounding name.

Essentially, it's a stress relief game. The player will have a set of particles/tools to paint onto a canvas. For example, steel, wood, vines and so forth. Other materials include fire, lava, C2, acid, lightning. Anything really. Just a fun little scientific/chaos driven game to stimulate the player during a long bus ride or a bored moment.

Just add in the material mix that you think will be satisfying to see react to each other, and watch the chaos unfold.

(image from: http://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/35641/c... )

There are 2 modes;

Competitive:

There will be a separate mode where the player can pick a "scene" (for example, an abandoned city scape, decrepit construction sight, etc) and use a limited amount of resources to create as much chaos as possible. The longer the chaos lasts and brighter is burns during the scene, the higher the scire will be. Scores for each "scene" will be included on a scoreboard.

Destress:

The player picks a scene or a blank canvas to use as many resources as he or she wants.

This game or more or less inspired by a game I played in middle school, albeit a little more quaint than this idea. In fact I think it was a physics teacher that introduced me to it.

Arcane factory is a game that the player plays as a mage that's job is to make spells for clients. The first part of a day is interviewing a client trying to find out what the clients wants and what the clients capabilities are such ass there skill level (mite need an object that cast the spell for them as opposed to giving them a scroll teaching how to do the spell), the player has to be careful of what they say to the client or the client might leave or withhold information. When the clients speak to the player the player is given text prompts. Then the player needs to make the spell by choosing how the client is going to use it researching on how to make the spell then print the spell on to the object then test the spell then sell it to the client. The player can also create spells to help make the clients spell

You are a secret agent tasked with saving the president from an army of assassins. You've managed to get him out of the White house and onto your speedy getaway vehicle, a motorbike. So the game goes like this. You're the only one out of you and the president that can hold off the assassins by shooting at them. So that leaves the president to driving the bike at high speed down the freeway. Your job as the master spy is to sit on the back of the bike facing backwards and shoot to hold of the classic blacked out cars, vans and bikes gaining on you while also listening to the presidents cries for help and directions. The president will shout, cry and complain directions at you, like if there's something in front of him you have to lean the bike left or right before you hit the vehicle in front of you while at the same time shooting from the back.

The game will be pretty forgiving as it will be a lot going on. The bike will have a health bar in which hitting the cars will only do about a quarter health damage. This is to allow for the rain of bullets coming at you also damaging the bike. The game will be made for the PlayStation move, Kinect and maybe even the VR headset if you have a strong stomach.

As a child did you ever race leaves down a river? Or down a gutter after a large downpour?

Leaf Racer takes this idea and raises it times 100. Choose between hundreds of different styles of leaves, different styles of sticks and use them to create your very own Leaf Boat to race against millions of people online. The game will take into account the rapids/flow of the water that the leaves are racing in, plus the speed and direction of the post-storm winds to create a unique race track.

The players will have fully customizable leaf boats. The more races they race, the more experience they receive which they can use to unlock more leaves, twigs and branches to make the ultimate Leaf Racer.

The player will have three captains to choose the sail their racer. Gregory the grasshopper, Billy the beetle, and Anthony (an ant). Each captain has a specialty in either speed, control or strength. You can customise your boat to either enhance the skill of your captain or make up for what they are lacking.

But he'll be back, and you know you have to stealthily find the exit to this place without falling victim to this horrifying abomination of nature. Off to Work is a game where you must get to work and you must make it on time. Pretty simple, right?

You must run through the crowded streets of Auckland, the earlier you can get to work the more bonus points you will get.

Having a 'clean appearance' is also necessary for your job, so you must also avoid getting your suit dirty at all costs.

Your score for each level is judged by how clean your suit is and how early you arrive at work. With the scoring you will get a letter grade, A+ being a perfect score and F meaning you're gonna get fired.

Obstacles in your path that will slow you down are road diversions, construction, school children and crowds of people, etc.. While some obstacles that will mess up your suit are puddles, mud, animals and rain.

You are able to clean/dust off your suit on the way but cleaning is a slow process and may cause you to be late unless you clean sparingly.

An IPhone app which has the same mechanics as Cookie Clicker, but its a post-apocalyptic game where you start a company that kills zombies. For every zombie you kill, you get money that you can spend on machines that help killing. However, you've gotta keep a good balance in production, because kill to slowly, and the zombies will appear everywhere and destroy the planet, making you have to start over again. Kill too swiftly, and there will be no zombies left to kill.

For the buildings, I don't think they should JUST help you, increasing the killing rate. There could be a machine that actually CREATES zombies, so there would be more to kill. This way, different machines could alter the game greatly. These might seem like a lot of things to keep track off, but remember, this is taking a game genre that requires pretty much no skill, to making it strategic and puzzling.

The player basically starts off with a good balance so it is all about maintaining that balance which is easy if you are the one controlling how many are killed and made. You have to use money to produce weapons which you sell in a store. When producing the items, you can choose the quality of them and what type of items to make. So each item would have some kind of stats (damage, fire rate, quality, ammo capacity). So once these items are produced they would be placed in your store which you could set the price of.

In an ancient Mayan temple sits a boulder, dutifully guarding the great wealth stored inside and patiently awaiting the day that someone might dare to take it.

In this mobile phone game you play a large boulder, hell bent on squashing the adventurers who've pilfered mayan gold.

You were chosen by the temple builders millenia ago and imbued with powerful magic, giving you unique abilities and all consuming drive to protect the treasure

Each level is procedurally generated but set at a specific difficulty level. So levels increase in difficulty as you play but are always unique. The goal in each level would be to catch up to the thief, who has gotten a large head start and crush them into a fine paste.

The player is able to swipe the boulder left and right to avoid obstacles that slow you down and collide with ones that speed you up. Game ending chasms would have jumps that the boulder must roll over in order to make it across.

As the adventurer flees, they gradually drop their loot, leaving gold coins behind for the boulder to roll over and pick up. Picking up a certain number of these coins would grant the boulder a morality boost and give a randomised power up.

When giving it your all reflects mere 'participation'.

This game is dedicated to years of coming last and is particularly reminiscent of the annual school sport's day. The objective of the game encourages you to break a leg… literally. You as the player must acquire style points by failing miserably at track and field events. Participation is an opportunity to do what you're not supposed to do with all the in game physics. Flip, fling and whirl yourself over, under or into a series of obstacles. Face plant yourself after attempting that high jump record or unnecessarily spin yourself into dizziness before you throw your discus. In this game, you can be as destructible as you want. So, feel free to aim for the referee or audience for extra points. Here you are being judged by your peers for originality, creativity and overall artistic impression.

DLC – Somehow you've made it into the Olympics.

Be creative. Latch yourself onto Usain Bolt and ragdoll your way to the finish line.

Preferably played with VR for the full experience.

I Didn't See That is a game sound navigation game where nothing is drawn on the screen. In this game, the player assumes the role of a blind person, or a person trying to navigate in a completely lightless environment.

Nothing will be drawn on the screen. Not even the main menus. When the player launch I Didn't See That, their device screen will turn completely black. The player will need to navigate the menu by listening to the *beep* sound when the cursor comes closer to a menu button. Pressing once will announce what the button does. Press twice to activate the button action.

In the game, the player must listen to the surrounding environment sound in order to navigate to the designated destination. The player will need to be careful not to run into or destroy dangerous things and objects. Running into people or other creatures might anger them.

It is recommended to play this game eyes closed or blindfolded.
