yeah, that extra day is definitely going to pay off. lighting settings, sound effects, final models, animations, level design, everything is trying to come together all at once. it isn't integrating perfectly, but we're all chewing away at it. i decided to pay for a 4th seat to give another team member access to the unity project, and i already feel like i'm going to be patting my future self on the back for making that decision today and not tomorrow.
i have a feeling we'll release a game that'll look pretty put together, but will have some glaring bugs in the final release. and that'll just be that.
