there are some visual tools already for animations and curves, which is nice. it seems like most available tools are related to 2D and there's probably a lot of additional work to do for 3D, but despite claiming to be "largely incomplete," the curve editor seems pretty useful.
attaching "modifiers" to entities, which are effectively components, has been very clean. the transition to utilizing those modifiers in code has made a lot of sense thanks to this tutorial. overall, i'm enjoying just feeling a little closer to the code in the engine than i otherwise would in Unity.
