I'm in the process of getting into college.
I was supposed to be writing application essays over this summer, but of course, I managed to slack off and do next to nothing. (YAY ME!)
Anyways, if you're in my situation and are having trouble cranking out those personal writing supplements, I invite you to join me in writing 200 words worth of college essays every day for the next two months! (Or editing 200 words. Just be productive!)
The early decision application deadline for my dream reach college is Sunday, November 1st, 2015, but ideally (and let me emphasize ideally), I'd rather not be freaking out about essays the entire week before the submission deadline, so I'm picking an arbitrary end-date of Sunday, October 25th by which to have all application materials written and ready for submission. (This gives a nice buffer period for just in case anything goes terribly, horribly wrong. Nothing will, of course. ;D )
So that's that - do your best to write 200 words every day, and report back here about it! Together, we can all fight back against procrastination.
And if you feel like it - this is completely optional - you can post what you've written each day and ask for feedback, moral support, acknowledgement, etc. But really, only if you feel like it. And please, be supportive of each other!
