it would be a cool goal to try and mainstreamify interactive art. i know youre into the whole 3d headset world so uve probably thought a lot about all this
the one i remember was it computed my skeleton from the movements i made and printed it on a giant screen. not very interesting. just a shitty mirror of whatever i was doing with my limbs
i went to a museum in sydney and they had some interactive art but i found it kind of lame. it didnt have boids . if it had of had boids i might have found it more engaging. its an artform to create good interactive art

@rain26 i think glasses form factor will be the mass market unlock & vr headsets will probably remain more niche, but will stick around
@dwarph in my opinion anyway
@dwarph i only say it from a point of. its easy to make technologies. its very difficult to create technologies consumable for mass adoption
@dwarph ok. are you still hopeful about the headset on the face thing? i seen some cool things with it but im not up to date
@rain26 the crank is just used for input - it's charged via usb c
in this vid the crank is being used to control the size of the gradients & influence the direction the birds fly in
google says its not for charging the device, im sorry
im not that luddite
@dwarph is it a gameboy for the unabomber? u have to crank it to get power to the device?

@rain26 this is using a playdate as an input controller but yeah made it over the weekend. extends a premade boids example from p5
i really liked linerider 10 years ago. people are still creating very cool things with linerider until this day

i think its a cool intersection of tech and art and programming and... mindfulness.. i guess
theres not really very much interactive art out there is there? most people i dont think experience it very often? i dont
u programmed this boid logic and mouse interactivity with the colour gradings yourself? i like the colours too
when i use a daw, or any digital software to create art. its a video game in a lot of ways. sorry i made ur post all about me
minecraft isnt a great example. minecraft is a freak event that was bound to happen in some ways
minecraft did it really well
i really like the idea of art x video game
sometimes i think im luddite, then i see some some boids like youve done here and i question my luddite status
