@dwarph woah i have never seen this. I also searched a video and it's very fascinating, thabks for that. Again, i love how your drawing is static, but captures the flow with diferent density so nicely!
@monkey i lived in aberystwyth whilst I was at university, where most spring/summer evenings at sunset the starlings make these beautiful patterns in the sky
it is stunning to watch (as long as you don't get pooped on haha)
i saw a picture of them yesterday & was reminded of it - thought it would be the perfect thing to sketch. this one wasn't really based off of a reference - looking at pics this afternoon they're much more syncronised than my drawing, though i've found a pic that is semi-similar

I thought it was a flock of birds. I love the "flow" it emits.
