welcome to new years, where the power goes out at 2pm on the eve, the road and downtown flood, and everything stays out for more than 24 hours.

i did side project work despite all of that, since i can still write in documents offline (and we did eventually get a network working in the house).

overall i think we recovered the holiday pretty well, but it resulted in some pretty weird new years photos
