i moved beyond the themes and larger story arcs in satellite and starting writing about individual characters. thinking about the game in different scopes like that has been really helpful -- when i try to picture a game as a lot of complex broad strokes, it suddenly feels very hollow. i think i've been forgetting just how many things there are to fill a story with.
