i'm still plowing through a few long-awaited game releases, but instead i got a migraine right before something i had scheduled today and spent more than half of the night suffering and recovering from that.

throughout the day i got a small burst of inspiration from seeing some other projects. i backed The Big Catch's Kickstarter late last night, despite the fact that the game isn't exactly the type i would normally play (low-poly, retro 3D platformer). i just like the vision the studio has and the game is quite cheap, so i wanted to be a part of it.

so i put a little bit of design work into Satellite. it wasn't very much, and although i love the document, i've been feeling for a while like there's just no way i can keep re-reading every part of it and make sure i follow all of my old advice. i'm just going to have to gut-react a bunch of it in the moment, and i'm sure it'll come together.
