in preparation for an upcoming interview and just to buff my C knowledge as i step into engines like Unreal, i'm reading some stuff on medium about C and how a studio has organized their entire workflow around it. it talks about custom engine design, limitations, preferences towards C over C++, and so on. it's pretty insightful, although i'm not sure i'm at liberty to make a decision to pick C for "more control" when i lack any ability to nuance between it and C++. but i do get the vibe
