Not sure how to feel about this one honestly. I feel like I really got what to do with some of the shapes, but others felt much harder. Overall I'd say I'm happy with it though.

Honestly think I did the best I could, though I do with I either made the dagger bigger or changed the perspective to give myself a bit more room to work. But again, other than that, I'm pretty happy with this!

Edited to put in the final showcase! While I definitely understand how to do lines in pixel art way, way more now, I still feel limited by my own drawing skill, but that's something I can improve on my own. I feel much better about coloring though, and even if I'm not that good at it yet, I have a much better idea of what to do and how to improve it. Sorry for the late finish, but thanks for letting me be a part of this!

Time: 25 mins

Relatively short day today but I feel like I'm going to make up for that tomorrow. Probably going to stick with the dagger since having it be metallic makes the lighting both easier and more interesting for me. I might resize the dagger and make it a bit bigger though, mainly because the gem seems too small to add much lighting detail to it.

Time: 45 mins

Honestly just not feeling the best at the moment, and most of the 45 minutes was me dragging my feet trying to think of what to do, so in the end I only came up with two simple sprites (the dagger being what I drew on the first day and the flower being something I drew during one of the first few days). I do, however, plan to go much more in depth with the colors and rendering tomorrow since that's what I feel like I learned the most from the course.

Time: 30 mins

Honestly not sure how I feel about how I did on this one. I definitely think the red shading was the worst (but that might be because one of the shades felt weird) but I think things got a bit better as I went through. I also felt more comfortable with 7 shade palettes than 8 shaded ones since with 7 shades I have a definitive middle ground to work off of.

Time: 25 mins

I figured it would be worth it to expand upon my previous color palettes, and I think I was right, especially since doing so showed me some mistakes I made the first time around that I can avoid in the future. Overall I'm happy with the result!

Time: 20 mins

I did my best watching the feedback others got and revising my shading based on that, and overall I think it helped! Specifically, it showed me a couple of situations where I was being inconsistent. I will admit, however, that I still have no idea what to do with the body highlight of the second figure on the bottom (the one with lighting from directly above). I figured there would be a bit more light on the left side than the right since the head is leaning towards the right, but other than that I had no idea what to do with it.

Time: 27 mins

I feel like I'm having one of those moments where this felt too easy and I missed something, and I probably did, but I'm still fairly happy with the result!

Time: 45 mins

I think this challenge made me question my palettes from the last challenge honestly, and also I feel the way I went about changing colors wasn't the most efficient, but overall I still had fun with this!

Time: 30 mins

I've never really done any exercises with colors before but this was a fun start!

Time: 1 hour

I'm pretty happy with how things went with this challenge! I got a bit hung up on the glove, but I think that was partially due to me not being sure about the overall shape I wanted to have the fingers make.

Time: 50 Minutes

Here's my (late) update for day 2! I admitedlly got a bit hung up at first, but I feel like I got a better sense of what to do as time went on. My second line/shape got me a bit confused since I didn't know how to handle the tips, but I think I did as well as I could for now. Also, I should be able to catch up with the course over the next few days so that'll be nice!

Time: About 15 minutes

Sorry about the super late start, but things got crazy at work right as this started, but I figure better late than never! I actually did this on the actual day 1 but forgot to upload, so I'll be using the weekend to catch up on the rest.
