This one was interesting for me because I am always so used to trying to tighten my colors as much as possible so being able to flesh out a color this much is nice!

Tried to refine 2 of my sprites ~ I think they came out ok!

So I think I misunderstood the assignment and thought I had to do full sprites then review then polish on feedback so I went a bit too hard on day 11 hahah I refined these sprites a bit and tried out some things like outlines and finer details.

This took probably the longest at about 2+hrs haha. I did silhouettes and then tried to color in but found that I didn't budget enough colors for everything- definitely a learning experience

Oh boy shading is not my strong suit but I am identifying weak points. I need to focus on my shapes more for sure.

It was really cool to see the breakdown in the video on what parts were lacking and why. I fixed the feet highlight and added more distance in shades^^

I had a hard time trying to distinguish how far the light is supposed to be from the subject, but I think (?) I did ok. Shading seems to not be my strong suit haha

This was the most difficult challenge so far for me. I absolutely am questioning my abilities after today haha

I took the colors I had from the other day and saw how some colors needed adjustments or more depth. It was cool to see it in action!

Really tried to make red work because it's the color I struggle with the most haha - produced some really interesting results!

Time taken: 45+min - a lot of fighting to make colors to feel more dynamic haha

Oof ! Silhouettes are hard. I had a hard time with making the glove look ok (probably shouldn't have done it so tiny hahah)

I found this day to be a bit easier than yesterday and had fun trying to challenge myself. I definitely have a hard time sloping around the line and making sure it doesn't look to stiff. It gave me an idea of what to focus on :)

Here is my day 1 practice! I found it hard to find colors to mesh properly and had good reusability. I'm happy with what I came up with.
