Drew yesterday at the dentist office, and then forgot to submit it... I'd like to add faces to my balloon game at some point.
Today I learned that the Dead Space Helmet has a lot more detail then I remembered. I also learned that I should probably just leave it at line drawing instead of trying to shade it in. I was also going to limit myself to only 5 minutes, and I wasn't even half done...
My 4yo daughter wanted to draw the helmet too, so we each drew a quick sketch at the same time, matching the major features of the helmet. She did pretty good!
This is a visual copy of a randomly googled image. I like to try and copy other art to learn from it, and just get better at drawing.

Not much in the way of art, but something is better than nothing. A tile floor plan for one of the levels in a game I'm tinkering with. Arrows can set off other bows, and the goal is to kill the slime without fighting it.
Made a pixel fire particle effect in Unity. This is all the art I got done today, but it's something. Something feels off about it, but it's a good start.
For a puzzle game I'm tinkering with. Heavily inspired by the Oryx tileset, because I'm using that tileset for other things.
Made a button for a puzzle game I'm tinkering with... Heavily inspired by the Oryx tileset, because I'm using that tileset for other things.
My daughter loved my last picture and really liked the "cloud girl". So I decided to make some more!
Playing around with creature ideas for a kid's game I'd like to make at some point. Something to help my 4yo daughter gain some gameplay experience in a safe place.
Needed something quick for daily art. This kind of made me realize I can come up with something pretty quickly that's halfway decent (at least enough for me). The time limit is very effective on making me practice art.
Simple floor texture for prototyping a level out. I always feel that I need a floor and walls before I can visualize what the art style is for the rest of the game.
I want to make daily art for a hobby game project. Making a very simple torch seemed like a good way to start without getting overwhelmed. I'll probably come back and redo it as my art style improves/changes based on how the game evolves.
