On Halloween everyone thinks they are "tough", and can handle anything the night is going to throw at them. However, we all know that there are those out there who just can't handle being frightened.

Scare Chair is a game about using a wheelchair to rescue and take those who can't handle Halloween out from where they are and back to their homes. You must navigate through haunted mazes, creaky homes, dark graveyards and many more. Since your passenger is already scared the aim of the game is to get them home without getting more scared, you must try to avoid all things scary that could jump out at you.

As you travel to the passengers home the passenger becomes less frightened and more confident about his/her surroundings, your goal is to get the passenger home with as much confidence as you can.

Old Grandpa is a game about an on man who does not want to go to a retirement home. His family however is insistent that he goes for "health and safety" reasons, they all think he is too old to be living alone in his house (His house will fetch a large sum of money if sold which is the real reason why his family wants him out of it).

You must play to complete activities to prove that you aren't as old as you look. Prove that you are young at heart and your family will have no ground to stand on if they try to kick you out. If you can't complete the tasks required, you will be sent to the rest home and we all know that's where old people go to "game over".

Set in a large rickety old house you must do maintain the property to an order that is appealing to a social worker who often checks on you at the request of your loving family… This can happen at any time, ie) if you are fixing the plumbing and a water pipe bursts you must fix it as fast as you can with whatever you have around you. You can come back to tasks but don't let them build up as improperly completed tasks only stay fixed for so long.

As levels progress you have less time to react for when the social worker arrives.

Score by staying out of the rest home for as long as you can.

Laser Guided Squirrels is 3D game designed with the use of a motion controller such as the Nintendo Wii or PlayStation Vuse controllers which allow a pointing motion.

A hyperactive squirrel has a love for all things food. Pizza, chips, sweets and above all… Cookies.

Seeing as the squirrel is hyperactive you will find that he can be easily lead by the laser pointer, but also easily distracted. Your task is to keep his attention on the pointer long enough to traverse whatever obstacles are within the game to complete each level. If you shine the laser dot too far and he won't be able to see it and will wander off, but if you keep it to close he will lose focus as it will no longer seem as "fun" to him.

Because it is a 3D game and you are stationary throughout each level, you will often find that the squirrel can go places that your laser pointer cannot. You must think about how to avoid areas where you may lose the squirrel or use reflections to assist him in his travels.

As the levels progress you will encounter harder obstacles and different fields of view. The squirrel will also start to move faster and more directly to the laser pointer, so be careful that you don't lead him anywhere he may fall or get stuck.

You will be scored on the speed that you complete each level.

Who can say no to an adorable puppy? I know I can't. This game is targeted at people with a love for animals and a soft spot for puppies.

In a busy city with many alleyways a lot can go unnoticed, including puppies. Your job is to become noticed the people bustling about on their way, but beware of the animal patrols, if you get caught its game over.

You play as an abandoned puppy who has was ditched by his family and you don't know why. You must use your cute adorable puppy dog eyes to win the hearts of people throughout the game in order to get loving affection and food.

You have a life meter which can be filled by performing tricks to get food and affection, the amount of food and/or affection you get is determined by the combo of tricks you do. You can learn more tricks as you play the game. With a full tummy (meter) you can move faster to get around from person to person to get more love. The faster you move the faster your bar depletes so be cautious when using a lot of energy. This can come in handy if you're spotted by animal control.

Wander the streets and make people fall in love with you.

In a quiet lagoon under the rocks there is a mischievous critter who has his mind set on having fun. This critter is a crab, who is armed with mighty pincers which can leave a nasty bruise.

Set in a lagoon not far from a local village you must traverse rough terrain to get to where the fun is, where you can nip people with your pincers to cause havoc… once you have terrorised a village you must again take to the hostile terrain to get to the next village and cause more mayhem. As you travel from village to village the difficulty is increased by introducing predators while travelling and crazed seafoodies (they run a cheap seafood bar and will do almost anything to catch you) in the villages.

What you can do as a crab is simple, you can move around, jump and attack with your pincers. Jumps can be charged by holding down the jump key. Jumping assists travel and gives you access to nipping different areas on the human body. Score more points nipping different areas.

Seasoned Defence is a tower defence game where you must survive against waves of enemies by building a structured base. Enemies get harder and harder with each set of waves. Throughout the game the main mechanic is being able to change the season that you are playing in to assist you in your battles against your enemies.

In each season you will encounter season specific enemies which will have different stats. Each season will trump the previous season and be countered by next season to follow. Your job is to assess each set of waves and use the ability to change the season to weaken said enemies making the level easier to complete.

Throughout the game you will have access to and unlock more structures each with weaknesses and strengths in specific seasons. This will make players have to adapt and negate certain strategies to complete each stage.

Juggling Frenzy is a game designed to be played on any device compatible with a touch screen.

You play as a clown performing at a circus in front of a large audience. The mechanic focused on in this game is how the player catches whatever is being juggled (balls, sticks, knives, chainsaws, etc). Players must touch the screen and catch each object from the appropriate part to avoid loss of limbs and/or fingers and then swipe their finger in a circular motion to throw the object back into the air. Physics will play a large part in determining the difficulty of this game as objects can be unbalanced.

An added feature will use the tilting function which comes with most smart devices. As players catch and throw objects there is a chance that they may throw one to the side. They can retrieve the wayward object by using the tilt feature on their device to move their clown from left to the right while still catching and throwing the objects they are juggling.

Players will score by the number of objects they are juggling, the type of objects, the distance they move left or right and the total juggling combos. Points will be lost for dropping objects.

Penguin Sledding is a 2D side scroller game where you play as a penguin who is going for a swim looking for fish. You must complete each level to find the fish by navigating over dangerous terrain where a penguin's worst enemies lay in wait.

You have an energy meter and the faster you run the faster it depletes. You can find fish laying around in each level which slowly replenish this meter. Laying on your belly and sliding to gain momentum will also allow your energy meter to replenish as you are not using energy.

Throughout the game you will have to be wary of hazards which would otherwise mean the end for a penguin. Killer whales can break out from under thin ice shelves bellow you, seals chase you in the water and polar bears chase you on land. You must outwit them all to get to your destination, your dinner.

You are a small house rat and you dream of becoming famous across the globe for your creativity and ingenuity when it comes to facing challenges like traps and humans. You pride yourself in your ability to make the most of any situation you face.

In a 3D world your task is to navigate from the start of the level to the cheese (the end of the level) whilst avoiding obstacles like traps and poison. You will have access to certain abilities which a rat would be able to use (ie, scurry – you gain movement speed allowing you to scamper up walls, sniff – use your superior smell to see paths that may not be visible by sight, etc).

In each level you must also avoid a new obstacle in the form of a new trap or animal and/or traverse a new terrain. As you progress the levels will include all and more of the challenges from the previous level.

If you are caught in a trap you must figure out a way to escape within the allotted timeframe or you lose the game, if you are caught by an animal you lose instantly and if you are poisoned it effects how your rat performs and reacts.

You play in a first person view in a 3D open world game where the only other objects you can see are mismatched and misshapen platforms. Your goal is to master the skills of jumping from one to the next as quickly as you can.

This will be a multiplayer game where players can challenge others to a race from one point to another. There will be no set path between two points so a player could win (or fail) many different ways.

As you progress and spend more time in the game to improve your skill you will be rewarded with slowly increasing stats, jump, run, climb, etc. This will be to simulate a player getting better by training.

You will be able to play in three worlds. A set game world where objects are always the same, a random world where the platforms are forever changing, or create your own world to master.

In the year 2037, everything has gone robotic. Robotics are still in their early stages of development but wherever you look you are most likely to see one doing one job or the next. Jobs like collecting the rubbish from the streets, mowing people's lawns, just chores that people don't want to do anymore. You are one of these robots, designed for the purpose of collecting, gathering, organising and packaging groceries. That's right, you're a trolley robot. You're fitted for zipping up and down aisles of a biggest supermarket at incredible speeds to complete orders and send them off to customers who have made a purchase.

You play as a "supermarket trolley robot" and you have to traverse throughout a supermarket collecting what is needed to complete an order, as you complete orders you get currency which allows you to upgrade yourself to be able to gather more quickly and efficiently.

Seeing as robots are still in the early stages you must complete your orders without being hindered by malfunctioning prototypes. Avoid them completely if you can but frequently they may be down an aisle that you need to go. You are able to throw items from your trolley at them to defeat them so it can pay carry extra items around, but be sure to balance extra items carefully as more items mean less speed.

Working at a bar to pay for college has its benefits… and its disappointments… karaoke night…

You play as a waitress/waiter at a popular bar on a Friday night and every Friday night is karaoke night. Although some of the singers are good, there are also those who are beyond bad. It's your job to hurry them off the stage. You can't just go up there and tell them to leave, that's just rude, but you can sway the crowd's opinion and get bad singers boo'ed off the stage.

As you server tables you must be on the lookout for people who are not enjoying the music and give them a friendly nudge in the right direction… maybe leaving a platter of tomatoes next to them or something. These people can then use the tomatoes and throw them at the bad singers making them leave the stage sooner. You can also make remarks to people who are not enjoying the music to get them to boo.

Be warned, if someone likes the music and you leave food ammunition or make a bad remark you could get a complaint or they could even throw the food ammo at you. Too many complaints or too much mess can get you fired.

Score by keeping the atmosphere of the crowd high and keeping the time bad singers are on the stage to a minimum.

This is a game designed for a smart phone.

It's a lovely day so you decide to go on a safari to see animals in the wild. You decide it would be nice to have some food to take along for the trip so you pack a picnic lunch with all sorts of goodies to eat. As you arrive at the safari truck you feel your stomach start to rumble, and you can't wait to eat the food you have got in your backpack. You decide to ignore the "No food allowed on the bus" sign and take your food with you because you are so hungry. The safari tour starts and you're having the time of your life and you unpack your lunch. It smells so good… so good in fact that all the animals are now trying to get it…

With animals running rampage towards the safari truck it is your job to deter them by throwing food at them to eat, distracting them and allowing your escape. You must select a food and throw it at the hungry animals before they reach the truck. Different animals like different foods and if you throw them the wrong food they will get angry and take it out on the truck. The truck will have a set health and when it takes too much damage it will roll to a stop and you're on the menu, game over.

Each animal will have differing speed and damage, making players have to choose which order they feed them in. In some scenarios they may only have time to stop one animal so they must choose which one is more dangerous and will deal more damage to the truck.

Throwing the food will be done by selecting a food from the picnic basket on screen and swiping your finger towards the animal at the right angle and speed to propel the food towards it.

Spring is a 3D puzzle game where you are literally a spring. The main mechanic focused on is the springs movement and how it interacts with physics.

The aim of the game it to complete a level travelling from start to finish, the way it is done is what makes the game challenging and fun.

You move like a spring would if thrown down at the ground. You can bounce, roll and launch yourself past obstacles attempting to get to the level end. The way that you do so is up to you.

The amount of control you are given over your spring is simple. You have the ability to turn and angle yourself in mid-air and compress and release yourself to gain a "spring" in your bounce.

The game will be meant for fun as a spring can often move in unexpected ways which will incur two game modes. Free play and timed mode, goof around and perfect your springiness and challenge friends in races.

Pyramid Horror is a multiplayer virtual reality game using the Omni Virtuix rig as a controller. You find yourself inside an ancient pyramid and you have to escape.

Within the pyramid you will be surrounded by an eerie atmosphere designed to create suspense and anticipation. The twist, however, is that within the game nothing that can actually hurt you. The entire design of the game will be directed at creating a horror game without needing scary creatures running at you. This will be emphasised through the use of sound, lighting and artwork throughout the game.

For example, a player may walk through a seemingly empty corridor and they find a portrait painting where the eyes follow you as you move, footsteps can echo throughout the area and players will begin to feel as though they are actually being watched.

The main thing that the game will focus on is creating an uncertainty amongst whoever is playing, causing them to "over-react" and "freak out" for no apparent reason.

In a world where the Earth is under attack from alien life forms, space explorers must travel to find a way to defeat the aliens or a new home. Along their travels they come across a massive abandoned space station where there is an interesting chair sitting in the main room. You sit down are your mind is connected with the space station and you are able to see entire galaxies. The only thing that you can't see is what is happening on actual planets.

You must assist your space explorers by using the chair to help them navigate the galaxy. You must help them avoid natural occurrences (meteor showers/etc) as well as hostile enemies (aliens). The way that you can do this is by interacting with the surroundings of the spaceship to manipulate space and time. You may create anomalies to protect and assist your spaceships.

Controls of the game are simple (see picture below). You may only control the outlying area around the spaceship (within the red borders) and you may place and/or create events to assist your spaceships and deter would-be attackers. For example, you may create a black hole to draw in enemies are to clear a path for your spaceship, but be careful that your spaceships don't go in themselves.

The aim of the game is to explore as many possible areas to discover planets for the possible relocation of everyone living on Earth.

In a busy city you are the mastermind behind all the great escapes. Any criminal who has been caught or has escaped, has been by your doing. You chose whether they walked free or were put behind bars… People can choose their own path… For a price…

Traffic Jam Mayhem is a game where you are a master hacker, and have hacked into and built a stronghold in the city's traffic camera system, you can see everything that is happening throughout town. You have also hacked into the traffic lights and road signs and can manipulate the flow and direction of traffic as you see fit.

The game is played using the views of cameras located around the city. These cameras are displayed on the screen in a variety of angles and sizes. How you choose to use them is up to you. You may be a good Samaritan and assist in the capture of criminals by "jamming" their escape route, or you may let them escape by "jamming" the cops.

Wherever there is a traffic light or road sign that the camera can see you may click on it to change the flow of traffic or make new suggestions to road users. Use this mechanic to ultimately decide how the game plays out.
