Genre: VR Horror

You mysteriously wake up in what looks to be a very run concrete basement with a single light build on the wall partially lighting the room. The second you leave the room the door closes behind you leaving you in darkness aside from a torch on the ground. With the torch as your only defense you must go from from to room trying to escape whilst being hunted by a dark force in the appearance of a women shrouded in darkness, your only hint you have of her approaching you is the subtle sounds and weakening light of your torch, your light becomes thinner and no longer reveals everything around in faint light but only the direct line of sight of the torch itself.

When in danger you can turn a higher level of brightness on the torch and shine it at the ghost/demon/spirit to force it to quickly retreat, but the powerful light on the torch only lasts 2 seconds and takes 8 seconds to charge leaving the torch with less light than it normal holds. If you are to far away from the spirit when you shine the brighter light at it it will become enraged and charge you the second your light dies down to recharge.

The further through the house you get the more aggressive and dangerous the spirit becomes as it tries to kill you (which it will alot).

Every time you progress to the next room the door gets locked behind you blocking your retreat. Every time you die respawn at the closest checkpoint which is the last door you passed through, after respawning you walk through the door to find your torch on the ground again but this time covered in blood.

Using the VR controls you must use your only source of light to navigate through the rooms and hallways until you escape the house of horror with as few deaths as possible as it will be counted and shown as a type of score to you once you finish.

In Secret Santa, you play as a person who just wants to make people's lives a little bit happier. The game will be primarily focused on resource and information gathering, as well as stealth. It will take place in a small suburban neighbourhood, and will have a day/night cycle in which the people of the community go about their business. During the day, you must do your best to figure out what would be good gifts for your neighbours through methods such as observing them, reading their mail, and going through their garbage. Then at night, once you've decided on the perfect gift to brighten their day, you must find a way to sneak it inside their room as a great surprise for when they wake up! As awareness of your generosity spreads through the neighbourhood, your job will become more difficult, as the community becomes increasingly intent on discovering the identity of the mystery gifter. They will install security cameras, adopt less-than-friendly dogs, and form neighbourhood watch groups. It will be difficult, but you will only be satisfied after every person in your neighbourhood receives the perfect gift.

This is a game idea for a Virtual Reality rig.

You play as an adrenaline junky who is into extreme sports. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you skydive with wing suit from many different heights and locations. Using a Vive motion controller you must bank left or right to avoid obstacles while flying through a Virtual Reality world. Manoeuver through obstacles as you fly at terrific speeds to your destination and get points for style and/or risk taking. Time trials, competitive races, freestyle landings and many more types of gameplay can be implemented.

For those of a less adventurous nature feel free to slow down the pace and see what it would be like to glide over different terrain with complete control of your avatar.

Challenge friends and take them on head to head in all types of game modes. May the best flyer win.

Pinball is a game where the player uses two buttons corresponding with a left and right bumper. They use these bumpers to strike the pinball which collides with other objects in the playing field. However, in this version of pinball, there is a second player who controls the movement of a character within the pinball machine.

The goal of the second player is to bump into the other objects in the playing field increasing their score while the objective of the pinball player is to crush the second player's character with the pinball after getting a higher score than them.

When the second player collides with an object in the field, it bounces back similarly to how the pinball bounces off those objects. The pinball player's score is also counted as the pinball strikes objects.

As soon as the second player's character loses 3 lives, the game ends and the player with the higher score wins.

  • Murder mystery
  • Interactive "board game" that uses an app as a moderator for players
  • "Whodunit" story-telling game
  • 4-6 players

In the Parlour with the Scandal Stick is a crime solving game that removes the need for a moderator in a board game by using a device with an app instead. The players are all suspects of a murder crime, explaining to the police why they are not involved with the crime while coming up with a plausible excuse for their belongings being on the crime scene.

Each player has their own device with app loaded. Once they have connected into a game, the app assigns one of them as the murderer. This is not shared with the rest of the players.

There are 3 types of murder cards: Weapons, Locations, and Implicated Objects. Locations and Weapons are straight-forward but the objects can be anything from a pink hair tie to a briefcase full of cash.

At the start of the game the murderer secretly picks out 5 cards to include in the murder file (1 location, 1 weapon, 3 object cards). The app automatically picks 2 "red herring" cards - randomised cards from any genre to put the players off while they try to figure out who the murderer is among them.

In each round the game puts out 5 cards (mixture of Weapon, Location and Object cards) for inspection. Players get to pick cards by turn (this is rotated each round). Once the player picks a card they take ownership of the card and/or item and have to explain how the item came to be at the location of the murder, or how they came to be at the location (like an alibi). For instance if an object card was a briefcase, the player would have to explain how their briefcase came to be at the scene of the crime without implicating themselves as the murderer.

The murderer, however, at his/her turn, MUST pick any card that is part of the 5 cards s/he picked out at the beginning. However, if another player has already picked the murder card first, the murderer is free to choose whatever card they like. At the end of the round the card that is part of the murder file is exposed. While this implicates the person who picked the murder card, it's not a definite condemnment because someone could have picked it first thinking it would be easy to explain.

The 'red herring' cards are cards that could potentially pop up in any round that aren't actually part of the murder file. However, the police picked up on a false clue and have included it in the investigation. The app tells the players that these 2 red herring cards are part of the murder file, even though they aren't chosen by the murderer, to add another element of mystery and to implicate more innocent players.

After one round, the players are invited by the app to accuse someone of being the murderer. Players can discuss and vote if they feel someone has been picking items suspiciously or reacting to items suspiciously. If a consensus cannot be reached the game continues to the next round.

First person to choose a card rotates clockwise each round so that the placement of the murderer doesn't mean they get the same prioritised option every time.

There are 7 rounds of card picking, story-telling, revealing murder items and then accusing to account for the 5 rounds with real murder file items, and 2 red herring rounds.

If the players can't guess who the murderer is by the end of 7 rounds, the murderer gets off free and the rest of the players lose. If the players correctly guess the murderer, the murderer loses and the rest of the players collectively win.

Wordy matchy slidey game

This would be a mobile game with a touch interface.

The player would interact with a grid of tiles representing individual letters with a free space to enable tile movement.

At the start of every level the player is given a goal length of word to create by moving tiles into the free grid space. TIles can be moved in 4 directions and only into an empty space.

The player is given additional points for creating a word longer than that goal length. As soon as a word of adequate length is created, inadvertently or otherwise, the level ends and points are counted. The player must therefore be strategic in their movements to ensure the highest possible word length is achieved.

After the completion of each level set the goal word length is increased by 1.

The diagram below illustrates the allowable alignment for tile matching.

Cloud 9 is a multiplayer party game, in which players look at a video of randomly generated clouds, and have to draw what comes to their mind in a very short time, as well as other drawing based minigames, with points being awarded to most creative, most detailed, and most accurate drawings. Inspired by the hectic couch multiplayer games common on the PS2, such as Buzz, the game can be played alone, or with a group of friends, all attempting to draw the same clouds. Gameplay is hectic and fast paced, requiring the player to decide on quantity or quality of images. Questions and abilities are used during the game in order to confuse players, with bonus points being awarded to players who answer correctly, at risk of having less time to draw.

You wasted all your money on a bomb shelter and the world didn't even end. Your family are all safe. The world is exactly the same as it was before. The cockroaches are the same size as always and humanity has continued on without a hitch. So, there isn't much else to do but go back inside.

Summary

This game is a first person shooter with no shooting. An action RPG with no action. The only skills you can improve are alcoholism and vacuuming. You were so set on spending your new life in Vault 222 that you quit your job, sold all of your possessions, and finally told your neighbour what you think of his yappy dog, and your wife left you when you gave her that tinfoil hat for her birthday. But because it turned out that the whole nuclear war thing was just a prank bro, you are forced to live out the rest of your mundane life bearing the consequences of those actions.

Gameplay

Well, I mean, you could mow the lawn. Now that you're unemployed, you can't afford that robotic butler, Carpsworth, so you could do the dishes too. Maybe beg pathetically for your wife to come back. Awkwardly avoid eye contact with your neighbour through the kitchen window. I suppose we could give you an achievement if you fix that leak you've been avoiding for months. There won't be any weapons or upgrades or murder or trading or exploration because there's no war for all that to really be necessary. Just fall in line with the rest of the world and stop reading so many conspiracy theories. Maybe you could adopt a cat and name it Catmeat.

Pomodoro-chan is a young tomato that's eager to grow up and see the world above the soil.

Pomodoro-chan is a casual mobile game about a little tomato who want to see the world high above the ground. In this fun and hilarious game, the player will help Pomodoro-chan to grow big and climb up the soil. During Pomodoro-chan's adventure, she'll meet many dangers such as eaten by bugs, freeze by cold weather and chop in half by tree roots.

The player will need to help Pomodoro-chan avoid obstacles and gaining nutrients. Getting too many nutrients is not always good at early levels because Pomodoro-chan will get bigger, and she may not be able to pass through certain areas. However the player can rest assured as getting eaten by bugs will reduce Pomodoro-chan's size a bit without killing her if she's large enough.

The game doesn't end once Pomodoro-chan sprouts out from under the ground. There will be more adventure awaits her above the soil. The player will put their skill to the test. Can they save Pomodoro-chan's life?

A game about flaying around as you attempt to complete important or mundane tasks you have been assigned, just like some rage games out there, Incompetence simulator is designed to intentionally have difficult controls, random fragile environment and many creative ways to mess up your assigned task. were games like QWOP and surgeon simulator will focus on one small aspect like running and surgery this game is about a small series of tasks including but not limited to cleaning, working a barista/cafe and cooking. the game will require skill to control the character to help complete these tasks rather than make things worse for themselves.

This an asymmetrical multiplayer game, consisting of five players in a post apocalyptic world.

Four of the players would be survivors, who have to build up and defend their base. They can set up turrets, build up walls and vantage point and upgrade / buy weapons. Meanwhile, the other player is control of the zombie army. They have control of an increasingly large horde of zombies, maneuvering different groups, with control similar to age of empires or similar real time strategy games.

The survivors will have to survive ten waves before being rescued, meanwhile the zombie horde gets larger and larger with stronger and different types of enemies as the waves go by.

The survivors will have a first person view of their environment, while the zombie leader will have a top down overview of the map. This allows for the zombie leader to have more strategic control, giving an advantage to the zombies.

a rediculous fast paced castle defence game for phones and touch screen devices drives its players by making them want a higher score, just like most time wasters such as quick tap games, take up your arms and take off the arms of your foes! skeletons, ghosts, goblins, schpiders, dogs, frogs, memes, anything the big bad old world of the medieval ages can conger.

you get given a small indicator telling you approx what time and where about the next enemy will strike, the game resembles a tile tapping game where the enemies you have to tap on come at a steady pace of enemy per second slowly progressing some enemies are larger and require you to tap them multiple times, some enemies have spikes that extend and you have to wait for a small window to pop up to tap them, take your score and compare them on the leaderboards, see what you have and if you can take the heat of battle (not really battling more like wasting time because youve been on a ferry for the last half an hour on your way into town to get to uni)

You are trying to become cool and you become the 'Designated Driver' for absolutely everyone at parties you go to. You must make sure that everyone makes it home from the party safely and that the police are not called to the house. You can achieve this by calling cabs for anyone wishing to leave the party (which will have a cool-down), closing certain doors and stopping any unnecessary disagreements that may occur at the party that will make people leave or have the cops called. There will be a 'happiness meter' to portray the satisfaction of the party-goers. The more happiness you get, the more popularity points you earn at the end of the night! You can earn more popularity points by having more people at the party. You can invite more guests to the party but it will become more difficult to contain them appropriately.

In this time management game you must finish all of your chores before your mum gets home and grounds you. Choose between easy, medium or hard difficulty for each level.

Each level has different families, house settings, time limits and different chores to complete.

Finish chores such as doing the dishes, cooking dinner, feeding your pets, vacuuming and so much more!

The difficulty setting changes the time limit and adds different obstacles to your game.

Obstacles include dinner burning while you're off completing other chores, pets complaining if they aren't fed quick enough and messing up your house -making another chore you must complete- and running with dishes which may cause you to trip, make a mess and lose points.

In multiplayer you call over your friends to help as the chore list had become too full for one man to handle. As well as collect bonuses around the house like the 2x score and speed boost.

Not finishing in time or not getting enough points will cause you to be grounded and lose the level, completing in time will earn you pizza for dinner and transport you to the next level.

A strategy game that spans time settings from the prehistoric ages to modern and even future civilizations. Rather than one off battles like traditional rts games, my game will show the rise of the players nation through a series of battles against other civilizations. The players main goal is to advance their civilization the fastest. They do this by earning experience in the battles that take place. The players may also choose to battle other players, this will take place in a matchmaking mode. The players civilization is constantly growing, however each game will start the players with the same resources. Units and buildings are unlocked after battles.
