had to redo several things i didn't even realize got lost after that unity crash. UI is back, Rider is hogging less CPU (Chrome has decided to hog the RAM instead, my computer is just getting a little old), i'm generally feeling good!
i also fixed a big problem with work (my laptop not working correctly), which has only led to a backlog of other issues i have to tackle that have piled up. playing catch up on that is really burning out my energy on gamedev, and i've got x-mas gifts and a bunch of other obligations to chew into! i really gotta prioritize, i'm kind of just treading water without getting anywhere this week.
